Today, I hired a cab to airport. I was surprised to see that the driver's name was Babar. As a secuIar person, I angrily asked Babar, why is he working on day of Eid? 😡 He said, he doesn't celebrate Eid. This answer infuriated me but it shocked me as well & I asked him why?? Babar said, when he was a child, he had a goat named Gulabo. He told me that his father & uncle first did wrong things with his Gulabo & then sacrificed it. 😔😔 By this time, tears were rolling down from Babar's eyes. I was shaking & trembling with anger and started abusing Babar's father and uncle. Babar calmed me down. I asked Babar if I can do anything for him. Babar said, I don't want any money from you but you must post #BakraLivesMatter and #AllEyesOnGoat today so that no other Babar loses his Gulabo on Eid. I was born in Venezuela. My family came here with nothing and we knew no one. But my parents always taught me that in America, you could be and do anything, so long as you worked hard and treated people with respect. When I was in college, I was playing football and my grandfather—who fled Europe during the Holocaust—was dying of cancer. My father called and said, “If you want to see him again, this is your last chance.” So, we flew down to Caracas, and it happened to coincide with a momentous event in Venezuelan history. Hugo Chávez came to power in 1998, and the Constitution said he could run for only one five-year term. So, in 2003, like any self-respecting dictator, he petitioned the Supreme Court to run again. And to their credit, the judges ruled he could not. So, what is a self-respecting autocrat to do? He packed the Supreme Court with his buddies and petitioned for reconsideration. This time the Court said, “Not only did we get it wrong, not only can you run again, you can run as many times as you like, until the day that you die.” And that's what he did. He was president until 2013 when he died. After that decision came down, Venezuelans took to the streets to protest and that coincided with my last trip to see my grandfather. During my visit, my grandfather asked me to take him out on the balcony so we could play chess one last time. He had taught me how to play as a little boy. People were protesting on the streets below. He said to me, “Your father tells me you want to go to law school.” I said I did. He asked, “What kind of lawyer are you going to become?” I said I didn’t know. Then he gathered all the strength that he had, and he lifted his bony finger out at the crowd and he said, “Always remember, this is what happens to a country when good people don't serve.” And so, when I was 34 and the president intended to nominate me to be a federal judge, which is a lifetime appointment, people said, “You're crazy. You got your whole life ahead of you to make money for your family.” But for me, the opportunity to serve this great country was a no-brainer. Dear Tesla community, I need your help with this hit and run, seems like San Jose Police Dept San José Police Media Relations SantaClaraCoSheriff won’t do anything unless the videos go viral! 6 weeks after this accident I called San Jose highway patrol And they told me they still categorize the driver as “unknown” as their report is showing I have provided them video evidence of the accident, evidence that I pulled to the side and stopped for the driver to exchange information, that I followed him for 10 minutes until he started driving like a total maniac, and provided them with his car’s info and license plate, which they confirmed with the DMV, yet they think it’s my job to describe the driver who has his windows fully tinted and I couldn’t see his face. You can see in this video how my car fully stopped at a traffic light, he drove, hit my car, backed up a little, I pulled to the side, stopped, and was about to get off my car (you can see me opening my door, we I saw him trying to pass my car, so I got back and went behind him, followed him for a solid 10 minutes (I have the videos too) until he started driving over 50mph in residential areas which is a thing I wouldn’t do. So I called the police to deal with him. The police told me if I can’t describe the driver nor identify him there’s no case! They are persistent that the driver is “unknown” despite confirming his car and license info with the DMV! You can see from the side video when he passed me that his windows were fully tinted! It’s the owner’s responsibility, and their insurance should pay to fix my car. They said he lived in another area and they contacted them to provide his info, but 6 weeks is enough for a criminal to a ton of things and hit so many cars while we are just waiting for them. This is the second hit and run on my new Tesla within 5 months of purchase where the police let go of both criminals.

Sometimes I just miss my dad. Wish I could give him my truck or give him a little cash. (my old man was an OG so he was all about that cash;) When I met Isaiah’s dad, Ricardo - he immediately reminded me of my old man. Hard worker, struggled with hard times, but always did what he could to take care of his family. My dad even opened up a cleaning service, just like Isaiah’s dad.
