Ok guys, time to come clean: my diabolical plan was to use shaders to merge the GPU particles and create some sort of fluid simulations inside Godot. This is proving difficult, also the particles interact with the collider but not with each other, so this is probably impossible. I don't know if this can spark some idea in the brain of someone more technical than me.

I released on my GitHub a new shader : Frosted Glass. The shader uses the scene's environment reflection (reflection probe) to fake transparency : The shader is actually fully opaque and doesn't use any grab pass. You can download it here : #VRChat
