Roughly half the parts of Model 3 🤯

Yes. About 80 parts for the body structure compared to 200 for the Y. 🤯 is the right reaction

Thanks! Do you know why they went with an all metal roof instead of glass? It's designed to be hyper quiet inside so you can watch a movie while it drives you around.

Cost and complexity for glass

Cost fit into it, but talked with an engineer and they told me it's quieter, which fit hugely into why they went with it.

@wmorrill3 running sound for @EricETesla 🙏legends

Wow ty so much for recording this

You’re welcome. Happy to share

Designed for efficiency, cost savings, ease of cleaning and entertaining. With V13, integration of ASS, parking in garages, pulling out of garages, I can see the vision of no steering wheels and petals. Essentially, the car can see what you see. $TSLA

💯

This short explanation should really wake up the people who listen to media and those who listen to passionate Tesla engineers. Long Term Tesla shareholders know the difference.

Indeed

Awesome!!! I can't wait until they bring it to Houston!

Can’t believe how comfortable it was inside

@JohnChr08117285 Where was this?

@alifarhat6_ali Thanks for joining our Space tonight Lisa! ❤️

We see you @wmorrill3 🧢

This is really happening !. These are the most interesting of times... I just picked up a new ModelY. Perhaps this will be my next Tesla !

Hope you get to try FSD V13

Soon soon....

The only issue I see with this design is the center console between the seats. When you arrive at destination in a cab, all passengers exit on the curbside. Meaning in a cybercab one of the passengers will have to hop over that console (and possibly large cups) to exit. You can’t seriously expect a passenger to exit (and open a wing door!) onto traffic. They should go with a real bench, discard that console and have retractable cup holders and trays / vide-poche coming off the dashboard instead. The rest is thoughtfully designed and I can’t wait to use one!

When you’re exiting a vehicle that doesn’t belong to you, why would there be cups still in the cup holder?

So cool. What great access Tesla is giving to the community.

It was @teslaownersSV that organized this. Recommend signing up to get their emails, they always have great events

@teslaownersSV ✅ I live in SoCal but would certainly travel for an event like that. I’m hoping to make it to the takeover events one day :) Thank you 🙏

They should ship the phone screen mirror / AirPlay IMMEDIATELY!!!! Game changer for sitting at the supercharger, as you can watch from any of your favorite streaming services, even if they aren't yet in Tesla theatre. While they're at it... Apple TV+ plz

.@KRoelandschap @ikbenechtben tech update van robotaxi 50% less parts

Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing!👍 However it´s a pity that so many people present were inattentive and just kept talking. Why?😞

amazing stuff @alifarhat6_ali could i take put subtitles on this & also share this video on my YouTube? i will reference this post from there. Thank you!

If you give me credit and reference my X profile. Yes. Thank you for asking. Please share your YouTube on x and tag me so I can share as well. ☺️

Will do Brother ♥️ This must be shared widely

wonder how they manually control this car. it obviously doesn’t drive itself inside of a store.

FSD V13

Thanks for asking the questions for me! I haven't looked at all your posts yet but did he happen to get a measurement of the back canal? You rock!

I did not but was told it definitely fits a folded wheelchair. There were so many people there it wasn’t easy

Thank you for sharing this wonderful video!

Happy to share

Yes. What a great area. Was my first time visiting

I live down the street. Thought I recognized the showroom! Wish I could have made it to the event!

Thanks for the answer. 💚

Eric added context. Half the parts from the body structure. The model Y currently has 200 parts and the cybercab will have only 80!!! 🤯

Hot

Why nobody ask if there will be air suspension for ride quality?

I asked that. No air suspension. The point is ease of manufacture and simplicity. The big tires actually help with ride quality.

That’s a mistake for @Tesla just imagine the comfort in air suspension rides in a robo taxi. A true differentiator. @elonmusk @woodhaus2

How much can the seats recline? A major benefit to me of a robotaxi would be the ability to take naps while on the road.

The point is it’s Robotaxi and will never be “parked” next to a car. Parking lots are going to be obsolete.

How cool is it that the actual engineers who have put their heart and soul into the product get to answer questions publicly like this instead of some marketing noob with predefined talking points!

Great share, thank you

Happy to share!

Need the jacket

Yes!

Have you had a chance to seat in it? Seats seem pretty low for older people. I don't see handles to help egress, it might be an issue.

Very cool

cybercab for the win 🙌 appreciate a follow 🫡

Where do we get that jacket?

🤣 I want one too. We have to be engineers.

Ok then, I identify as Tesla Engineer. Now, I am waiting by my mailbox.
