It’s very rare to see me address a narrative, especially in a week like this, but the narratives being pushed about Araga continue to grow because his camp has largely remained quiet while people pile on him. Last night’s situation with Abi is a perfect example. A short, edited clip is being used to paint Araga as someone with “anger issues,” while leaving out the context that came before it,including the way the boys were being spoken to and addressed with disrespect and hand-clapping. Araga wasn’t the only one with a problem, other housemates immediately called it out. Did Araga raise his voice? Yes. Was he disrespected and being heckled? Also yes and by someone who we have all seen has a vendetta against him. A heated exchange is not a personality disorder, and one moment of frustration does not suddenly define a person’s character. We’re sharing the full, interaction because context matters. Watch it in its entirety and make your own judgment. Araga is allowed to have disagreements. He is allowed to be frustrated.
