That really sucks! I'll never understand why people living on or near the coast would have vinyl siding one, and an asphalt shingle roof. Framed house is a bad idea too.

Writing from SE FL, I cannot comprehend building codes up there that allow houses made out of paper mache. It's completely ridiculous, and the insurance rates across the rest of the state should not have to suffer because those idiots cannot get their act together.

I'm in northeast Pensacola Florida and we are all fine. Lots of trees down. My family in Gulf Breeze, Crestview and Navarre are all fine. 🙏
