Some migrants crossing into the U.S. illegally aren’t doing it alone — Americans are helping them in. One smuggler anonymously tells CBS News he’s moved nearly 500 people, making up to $2,000 per person. He calls it a lifeline for families fleeing violence, but some critics say it’s simply criminal.

The “smugglers” helping in the illegal aliens are called VOLAGs… Come on CBS, just a little journalism once in a while… Most of these are “religious” NGOs, mostly Christian… Disgusting … But since you choose not to do journalism, I’ll help here. You’re Welcome. VOLAGs VOLAGs - (VOLuntary AGency), are agencies accredited to work with the United States government to resettle refugees and asylum seekers •Church World Service •Episcopal Migration Ministries •Ethiopian Community Development Council •HIAS - The Global Jewish Nonprofit •International Rescue Committee •Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service •U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants •United States Conference of Catholic Bishops •World Relief •Bethany Christian Services Illegal Immigration Support Supporting Illegal immigration - UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) - RRT (Rapid Relief Team) - CWS (Church World Service) - NJFON (National Justice For Our Neighbors) - Catholic Charities - HIAS - EMM (Episcopal Migration Ministries) - LIRS (Lutheran Migration Ministries) A VOLAG, or Voluntary Agency, is a private or state agency that helps refugees resettle in the United States. VOLAGs work with the State Department to provide services for refugees, including: •Meeting and picking up refugees at the airport •Finding housing •Helping with basic needs •Cultural orientation •Assessing employability •Assisting with finding employment VOLAGs provide these services within the first 90 days of a refugee's arrival in the U.S. The one-time or multiple payments made to refugees during this time are called "Reception and Placement" or "R&P" money. VOLAGs may work with sponsoring agencies, such as churches, civic organizations, or other local groups, to help with resettlement. FEMA also works with VOLAGs through Voluntary Agency Liaisons (VALs).

@CBSNews There are approximately 664 million people in Latin America. Why are these people so special and above the rest of the population?
