Some of my fondest memories, both as a child and an adult, are fishing with my Dad.

Fishing was a very big thing with my Dad. New straw hat every spring and fishing we would go. There were three of us girls that he was determined to make fishermen out of us.

Yup! I was that old when my dad took us fishing. We did it for years! 5 girls and 1 boy using cane poles.🥰

I remember once I caught a 13" carp at Pymatuning Lake in PA. Biggest fish in the world, at the time...

I like the way that the dad stops himself from taking the pole to do it for the kid. He helped him, but also let him know that he can do it himself. Awesome parenting.
