Some more composed thoughts (but not really because this is a crazy sequence of events)

"Played through all the way the playoffs" he only played in the WS bro

Jolly I love your stuff please take care of Bo. He’s made of paper machete but he’s a special special hitter

Not to be the “well actually guy” but he didn’t play until the World Series in the playoffs

Make no mistake — Baty and/or Vientos is getting traded for an arm

Jolly, is playing Baty at first the move? Probably a much more reliable glove there than Polanco.

Possibly easing baty to play 2nd for the future after semien is gone?

Baty played left in the minors and has a cannon

i think Baty’s going to get a 1B mitt and Polanco can play there against lefties and DH against righties

Take care of our boy, Jol

He didn't play through the playoffs lmao the Jays got to the WS without him

Minor nitpick, but he didn’t play all the way through the playoffs. He missed almost all of September and didn’t come back until the WS

LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO

Can it be a pivot and happen that quickly? Looks like they were after both.

Brett Baty get ready to learn Red Sox buddy

I think if anyone’s getting moved in a trade it’s probably Vientos.
