First Sri Lanka, then Bangladesh - now Nepal is experiencing mass protests that are forcing leaders to step down. The social unrest is caused by similar policies and outcomes: skyrocketing inflation, fuel and food shortages, unemployment, and corruption—shorthand for nepotism and cronyism. The losers in this new economic order are the same as those in Australia — our young people do not have the same opportunity to create wealth and abundance that their parents enjoyed. For Gen Z, home ownership and freedom from debt are nothing more than a pipe dream. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal - like Australia – are World Economic Forum test tubes, where the WEF test their policies around income redistribution (from workers to the wealthy and connected), artificial food and energy shortages, censorship through Digital ID and in the case of Nepal, social media bans, all designed to exert total control over a population reduced to the status of serfs. For reference, here is the WEF profile page of the deposed Prime Minister of Nepal: Like our Labor Party, he ran a communist government. Democracy failed Nepal for the same reason it’s failing in Australia - loss of faith in essential institutions. Citizens felt that parliaments, courts and bureaucracies were protecting political leaders rather than serving the people – leaving the streets as their last bastion of protest. One Nation will withdraw from the WEF and the UN, reject their agenda of neo-serfdom designed to consolidate wealth and power in the hands of billionaire owners. We will shrink the size of Government to fit the constitution, repeal the control matrix of social media bans, Digital IDs and facial scanning, and return government to the people.
