Democratic Socialists and Social Democrats are just the left wing of liberalism. Liberalism is a right wing ideology. We have to make this clear distinction. Also, Liberals are NOT the Left. If you just want guardrails on capitalism or just social welfare programs but not get rid of the system that pushes us to the margins, you're not on the left.

We fear that the current instability & increased militarisation due to the US intervention will further worsen the situation in Venezuela. The future of Venezuela must be determined solely by the Venezuelan people, with full respect for their human rights, incl. the right to self-determination & sovereignty over their lives and resources. ➡️
