The girl that went to check on the boy instantly put herself in a negligent position when she knew that a five-year-old and seven month old were at home alone while their mother was at the bar. Mother needs to lose her kids, babysitter needs to go to jail. Insanely ignorant!
Bad parenting. When my child was 5 years old, she knew better. She doesn't even answer knocks and doorbell rings. This 5 year old? Just wandering around.
I am mot do sure I trust that babysitter's story. How is it she wasn't smart enough to say something to the mother about the 5 year old being left alone?
I feel like the babysitter should be in more trouble, but I'm not sure about the legality there.
