When you stop negotiating down, you stop filtering for people who can’t afford you. And I don’t just mean financially, I mean energetically & psychologically too. People who can’t afford you NEED you to be smaller. They need the discount to confirm something they already believe which is that you’re not really that expensive / not that in demand / not that certain. So understand that your price is SUPPOSED to make some people uncomfortable. Plus, the right people won’t even blink, bc to them it’s normal. So stop lowering your price! Stop making yourself affordable to people who were always going to undervalue you! Let them go find someone cheaper.

Ungrateful partners don't see your sacrifices. They only see what you didn't do. No matter how much you give, they'll still find a way to make you feel like it's not enough. If you keep bending yourself to please someone who only sees your faults, that's not love, that's being used. If they can't see your effort, maybe you're just giving your best to the wrong person. You deserve someone who appreciates your effort, not someone who just counts your flaws.

Some people call it arrogance; I call it knowing your lane without needing to block someone else’s road. Not every attraction is a good match, and not every mismatch is an insult. You can admire someone, respect their achievements, and still recognize that your lifestyles, ambitions, values, or social circles may not align. The real wisdom is knowing what you bring to the table and having enough self-awareness to understand what kind of table you actually belong at. Exceptions will always exist. They’re exceptions precisely because they aren’t the rule. The goal isn’t to rank people. It’s to know yourself well enough to stop forcing mismatched equations and calling the resulting confusion love.

I really wanted to say this part clearly. Not every man in the comments is reactive or defensive. Some of you showed exactly the kind of grounded presence I want to call forward. You stayed with the message. You shared honestly. You helped other men feel seen. That matters so much because it proves something important: A foot lover does not have to be ruled by his trigger. Merry Christmas Eve, dwellers. 🎄🐲 I have a request from a friend that may apply to many people out there, but here are my thoughts… (I apologize for the lengthy response, but this topic is something I also care deeply about) You are doing better than you think. When you feel anxious, it becomes easy to downsize your own efforts. When you look at what you made, you focus only on what could be better. You compare it to an ideal that no one else is holding you to. With that mentality, you forget how much care, time, and effort you already put in. If you keep telling yourself that you are not good at anything, pause for a moment and understand this: that thought isn't true. Anxiety and low self-esteem change how you interpret your own work. Your mind learns to look for flaws and dismiss everything that went right. So even when you make something solid or meaningful, it feels small to you. That does not mean it is small. It means your perception is narrowed by fear and pressure. Perfectionism often hides behind self-criticism. If something is not flawless, your mind labels it as worthless. But that standard is impossible and unfair. Growth does not happen at the finish line. It happens in the unfinished, imperfect attempts you keep doing. The work you are making is not insignificant. It shows growth and someone who is learning while still trying. That matters far more than perfection ever will. You do not need to see your full potential right now. You do not need to prove your worth by being exceptional or reach some invisible standard to justify your effort. You just need to keep doing it and allow your work to exist as it is. Others can see the value even when you cannot. If you cannot see your potential right now, that is okay. You are not broken. You are not lazy. You are not wasting anything. These patterns were learned over time, and they can be unlearned with patience and support. You are not behind, and you are not failing.
