Thank you @labourlewis 🙏 I don’t claim any benefits but I came pretty close after a Covid infection in 2020 left me with severe health issues and made me realise that disability can happen to anyone. The “working people” rhetoric reeks of ableism, division and discrimination.

Interest rates are set by the govt. The govt could stop selling bonds. (The Bank of England is owned by the govt) The 'markets' don't dictate economic policy. And there's no scarcity of £money. 'tax payers' money' is a Thatcherite lie. Govt spends then taxes.

The government says that disabled people will “co-produce” the PIP review, but deciding to make cuts and then asking disabled people which cuts they would prefer is at best a rubber stamping exercise. No disabled people’s organisations support this Bill. We must vote against it.
