2y ago I got swept into the craze of reading a book a week and it was a miserable experience. Reading is not a race. There are enough races going on in our day to day lives. I just want to sit down with a hardcover book and have a conversation with the author. That's it.

Shifu once said: True wisdom is knowing and accepting that you understand very little of the world. There is always more to learn and there are always those who can be our teachers. A wise man is forever a student. And his mind is forever open to new ideas.

Great books can be read repeatedly. They are ever fresh.

One thing is right- speed reading is a trap. I love a book when I get immersed in it, not when I am in a hurry.

Your philosophy point of view has always been top notch. You're an excellent guru to have, thanks for the insight.
