Been there and done that and it doesn’t come close to what the NOAA team is doing! 😅
20 years ago was in a wedding in FL, rode to the church with 2 other groomsmen (very nerdy looking), they were chatting away, then said sorry, we were talking shop. I asked what did they do. Well we fly planes into hurricanes. Suddenly their extremely hot wives made sense.
Showed this to my youngest weather geek. He loves it.
Can believe it - this is impressive skills!
They are not nervous. Engineer on the throttles is smiling like a kid at Christmas
That airframe can outlive a Toyota easily...
