I lived in the North for 10+ yrs, I can say that their social structure thrives on a master-slave dynamic. Their elites prefer widespread poverty to feed their egos, get slave-like domestic help for their lazy families & maintain lost souls at their beck & call for dirty jobs.

In this same Nigeria, same region where insecurity is at its highest, same people among which majority can barely feed. What exactly is the occupation of these people dropping the money. They could at least pretend and do things codedly. Nigeria go survive.

This lavish wedding style is pretty unbecoming as the Northerners are crying for hunger and insecurity. Spending in this cause will record no rewards in their books but helping the needy attract more rewards in abundance
