My problem with people like you is the fact that you speak on your high horse every single damn time! Why is it you’re pretending there isn’t poverty in whatever gutter region you came from? Every single thing about the North you must complain, nonsense ass behaviour! Shut up!!!

According to Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi the level of poverty in the North is 80% compared to 30% in the South West.
And what are the rich in South doing to support the poverty in the south too ? Allow people spend where they deem fit .

I lived in the North for 10+ yrs, I can say that their social structure thrives on a master-slave dynamic. Their elites prefer widespread poverty to feed their egos, get slave-like domestic help for their lazy families & maintain lost souls at their beck & call for dirty jobs.
In this same Nigeria, same region where insecurity is at its highest, same people among which majority can barely feed. What exactly is the occupation of these people dropping the money. They could at least pretend and do things codedly. Nigeria go survive.
This lavish wedding style is pretty unbecoming as the Northerners are crying for hunger and insecurity. Spending in this cause will record no rewards in their books but helping the needy attract more rewards in abundance
It's not what you think, it is rich people having an opportunity to give themselves gifts. They still do a lot of charity. Maybe they are Kano billionaires.
