Some things I saw recently that I think are cool: — Maison Hellard linens that look like tweed — Anthology Torbay loafers (unlined upper for a slipper-like feel) — Berneron's annual calendar coming this year (via Youtube masterwatch) — The Decorum's guide to Bangkok (nice suit)

Love the Wes Anderson style of the video

I love the wrinkles in a linen suit!

I’m going to Vietnam in a few weeks. I’m a menswear rube but have been told buying a suit there is a must. Have any tips that might be helpful?

personally don't recommend buying a custom suit in vietnam

@aweb3dad did you do the voiceover on that video???!!

Is there a way for linen to not look like it was chewed by a dog 🫣 I hate wrinkles. I want to find a light fabric for summer hot and humid days 🥲

Great cinematography in the video. And the suit is sharp.

I, admittedly a cretin, also think the Decorum suit is fantastic and perfect for Bangkok and I can’t imagine I’d be able able to manage eating all the wonders of Bangkok cuisine with my cream suit surviving the experience. I’d look like a 5 y/o’s tie die project by lunch :)

Linens that look like tweed is definitely a northern latitude phenomenon. They are beautiful, but there's like 2 months in the year you could wear them in Oklahoma or farther south. Doesn't matter what material, a dark suit in the sun would be miserable.

The Berneron is spectacular. Very ALS Zeitwerk.
