So if there is war, I believe that the oil and gas trade across West Asia and the Caucasus will come to an end, and that will lead to a global economic crash. U.S. assets in the region will, of course, be targeted. Those Arab countries that host U.S. bases, which are as we speak being used to plan against Iran, will be complicit. I do not think these Arab regimes will last more than a few hours or a few days or at most a few weeks. Some of these entities have passport-holding populations of a few hundred thousand to a million, and foreign workers outnumber citizens 5 to 1 or 10 to 1. Most of the foreign workers are adult males.
