Some thoughts on Elliot Anderson’s mindset, passing and immense importance to England. Again. Report from a noisy Miami diner.

Elliot «Mr Dive» Anderson !!! A pure class Hollywood-cheater 🤡

Water carrier. Outclassed by Odegaard last night. England can't win WC with a midfield of Rice and Anderson. They offer work rate not guile.

I thought he,was fantastic when rice went off opened up the space for him to perform n got better and better all through ET

Oscar nominee too. Very talented.

The Prince of diving

Hi Henry. Always enjoy your analysis. Please keep these videos coming!

He is a diver and a cheat

England in 7

Absolutely. A quiet unsung hero.

Considering it normally takes about 10 caps before they feel really part of the team . He and Spence have grown into the team

Dont forget diving!

Bellingham was our most affective offensive player. Anderson held the midfield together and showed great maturity. Stones was outstanding at the back and put in a solid 130 minutes. Spence gave us energy when he came on. James played a very good cameo and added composure.

Elliot Anderson has been incredible.

I just don’t see it. Didn’t see it at Newcastle and don’t see it now. 116m is just mental.

Someone’s got to do it, hope the cuisine was good.

His a baller he gonna learn alots next year

Always rated Anderson's vision on the pitch. Curious what stood out most in Miami?

Top Midfielders: Completed Passes 1. Rodri (Spain) 🇪🇸 — 597 passes  2. Neil El Aynaoui (Morocco) 🇲🇦 — 408 passes  3. Vitinha (Portugal) 🇵🇹 — 380 passes  4. Elliot Anderson (England) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 — 353 passes He’s miles ahead of any other English player!

Anderson my MOTM yesterday, but dear God, did we miss a sick Rice, he’s the one who gives Anderson the freedom to play his game…

The coach was correct. We were slow and our ball retention was often poor which allowed the Norwegians far too much of the ball. Playing a CB at right back left Maduake isolated when they doubled up on him. James linked up well with Saka when moved to RB

He’s average at best. Media as usual have made him into something he’s not. He’ll be #115’s new Grealish.

This matters. The timeline of events is becoming clearer.

Tuchel has said he wants to bring more English players into position of forward play we haven't seen Saka Rice Eze in attacking positions yet.

Tbh, I hadn't really got close to understanding the fuss about Anderson but he was outstanding yesterday. Maybe I'm just too old to get it now but that fee Man City is paying still looks crazy ott.

Yes, very good actor he is👏👏👏

@markturnerII Henry talking sense as usual!
