Some thoughts that I have on other people’s thoughts about age #yankees

The Yankee fans upset about signing 37 year old Goldy, a former MVP, to a 1 year deal at 12 million dollars, are the same who wanted Soto until he is 40. When Soto is 37, he will still have 4 years 200 million left on his contract. That Soto contract is so bad.

The old argument is even more funny when you saw the outrage when the Guardians signed Santana. Who is a year older than Goldy.

Old is fine… ineffective is not. The Arenado talk is driving some of this because if you add him you are getting old and likely ineffective at both corners.

Thank you Jomboy. These takes on the Yankees being old, don’t make sense. Not only that, but everyone being upset that the Yankees didn’t tie $60 million up in a 34 year old first baseman is confusing as well.

Jazz, Bellinger, Volpe, Dominguez, Judge all move pretty well out there. it’s just Stanton, Wells and Goldy. Catcher? 1B and DH, normal positions to be slow of foot (Goldy with 11 steals last two years too lol)
