Some kids came up to our door, lit a firework, and ran. It could easily be mistaken for a gunshot because it was similar to an M80 and loud. If I was home at the time it went off, I would have gone in defense mode for my family. This is the last thing you want to do in Texas. I'm all for kids being kids but this is too far for a prank.

Rumor has it I’m still swimming… 😂 Lol, but hey, I’m about to get real for a second. There have been many moments recently where I’ve felt like the currents have been too tough to swim through… All I wanted to do was throw in the towel and come up for air. But it’s in moments like this where I remind myself that I CAN swim… and I’m actually a damn strong swimmer at that! I may have to hold my breath for a little longer, or paddle a bit harder, but I always make it to the other side. So this is your reminder to just keep swimming. If I can do it, so can you. Whatever it is, you’ve got this ❤️ #mentalhealth

T/W: suicide, eating disorders I’m self-conscious about how I look. I get criticism on every move I make both publicly and privately. Every time I take an action I hear the potential criticism in my head… but I do it anyway. The criticism does always come. I get criticism on my body too. I can love myself at any size, but the never ending pressure to please everyone and to try to be so strong people can’t criticize me is tiring. Sometimes I wonder if my problems are really my own. When I’m alone, I only have love for myself without an ounce of shame or self-hatred. I like myself and who I see in the mirror. But hate and criticism can eat away at you. “Are they right?” “Should I really be eating that?” “People will judge me.” I’ve never recognized a negative voice in my mind as mine. I can’t think of one person who would say I’m the negative voice in their head either. But the negative voice in my head has left me suicidal before. I don’t hate myself. But sometimes people treat me like they hate me. It’s hard not to internalize it. Today, I want to remind you- you don’t have to hate yourself even when the world treats you like they hate you. It’s safe to make mistakes. It’s safe to love yourself and your body even when others laugh at you. Every time I get a message about how someone loves their body a little more after reading my messages, it reminds me why I keep opening my heart. It’s hope. We all need hope. I was scared for my life at Trumps White House- I was really in danger as a black man. Actually they did a terrible job at being racist! Trump had so many black people in the White House , he played good music , had good food and celebrated Black History Month. I really don’t care what month it is, I’m always proud to be an American. I’m so glad I had to honor to dance at the White House and have a good time. I love America, I love my President

Last week I booked a last-minute flight and stay in Cabo less than 12 hours to take-off because I was freezing my ass off at home, feeling like a “hostage” to the market. I forgot my swimming trunks and had to buy 2 of them for an eye-watering $450 USD (still wtf’ing at Grand Velas boutique)… And STILL, it was much cheaper than sitting around grinding it out when the market wasn’t there for me. Trading is one of the few professions where you can literally lose vacations/cars/houses etc AND, more importantly, TIME simultaneously while “working”. And so, I often think to myself if I’m so willing to part ways with my trading PNL, then why not just spend that on something tangible. I remember one of my biggest losing days in 2021, I decided to just buy the watch I wanted instead of waiting to feel “good” about my PNL. Our perspectives warp when we stare at numbers and desensitize ourselves to the true ups and downs. Whenever I spend the money it grounds me, “this is what this is worth”. Whenever I’m able to tip generously, especially in areas where the dollar goes farther, I feel more connected to my pursuit of trading for a living. Serendipitously making someone’s day with an outlier tip is one of my favorite things to do. Extremely hard working people who don’t get appreciated often, meanwhile we lose their salaries in pajamas… it’s madness. I just want to point out that I know people feel it, but don’t act on it. Try to exercise some of your freedoms as a trader and realize it’s okay to step away whenever you want and you don’t need permission to just do what you want when you want. You’ll probably come to so similar conclusions for yourself.

“Perfect WWE Superstars” No lies told. Is it overkill posting at this point? Yes of course but my whole schtick is overkill. And I had to make my point… Even though I’m known for having a silly goose time, every day is a frustration. Constantly trying to figure out “whats next” and what else I can do. People every day asking “why aren’t you signed?”. It’s all in good faith, but it makes you feel like a failure. You live in your own head, CONSTANTLY. I don’t recommend it. It doesn’t allow you to live in the present. But seeing stuff like this? From a guy I have the utmost respect for? This makes it all worth it. To be mentioned by Matt Cardona , along with my pal Richard Holliday , really makes me sit back and appreciate this circus that we choose to be apart of. Never thought I’d say it, but we are got dam TOP GUYS. 😃👍🏻

I kept getting distracting while vibe coding… so I made a notch for Claude Code It updates the status, pings you when you need to answer a question and notifies you when the task is done When it detects claude is working it also prevents my macbook from going to sleep I can walk away from my macbook. I mean you do have a very good point, however I hope you can understand where I come from. (Sorry I’m advance for the long tweet back) This is exactly what I use to do when I was their age. We didn’t have the luxury of an independent scene we do now and even if we did I was 14 years old, I was only allowed to go to a training school to learn the basics. But I had an enormous passion for the business & if I wasn’t allowed to work shows I’d do it myself. - and I’d argue that because of this I had a head start on a lot of the people I trained with when I finally turned 18 From there I’ve been lucky enough to have the support of friends, peers & fans to push me into what I am today. The fact I’ve still had that same style for now 17 years and this is my first surgery, I think I’ve looked after my body. Think about it 17 years this is my first major injury. You think this is stupid, I would say it’s equally as stupid as to fall off a scaffolding breaking both your legs. And while I’m sure there’s a few people that wished you landed on your head, I for one hope you’re doing well & not in too much pain from your injury. But to me, it showed the care that you have for the industry at that time. I see myself in these guys that are finding any outlet to do what they love. Their bumps are solid & basing is great. Like I said I understand there is a level of danger doing this so I hope none of them get hurt but I can’t help but root for these guys and hope I one day see them in a ring. Once again sorry for the long arse tweet and hope the message finds you well boss.

Had a few people ask if this is something you can actually do full time and quit your 9-5… I love that question—because I did. I quit my job and never looked back with OddsJam.com It’s possible if you want it. But like anything, it takes discipline, consistency, and hard work. This world doesn’t reward the lazy. Marcus Aurelius said it best: “You love your bed? Was it for this you were born — to feel nice and warm under the covers?” Get up. Get after it. It’s possible if you want it bad enough. I’d love to lay in bed all day too… but I’ve got work to do. And atleast it’s work I enjoy doing and it’s a room over from my bed so I’m definitely not complaining 😂
