Some young blokes help to restore your faith…

With all of the doom and gloom in the news, realising that real people who help each other do still exist is just so reassuring to see. Well done to those chaps

This happened to me at Glastonbury in 2005, older people but same experience. Dragged my ⛺ 4 miles from the car and half way up the hill... Utterly exhausted due to my heart disorder and then undiagnosed AU/ADHD from the long drive as well. Put my tent down and these older chaps came over, gave me a 🍺 told me to take a seat said "We're your neighbours..." And put up the ⛺ for me. I cried, it was the single kindest thing I'd ever experienced to that point. Over that weekend I spent time with them and explored myself... It was the year of the flood and the near call off on Friday... A 10 pound pair of Army 🥾 and a Thundercats hoodie bought on the stalls saved the weekend. More people came up to me and made friends cos of that hoodie that weekend that I can remember... It still gets worn today, although it's more my comfort blanket when I need cheering up. The rain finally stopped and the sun came outband dried things out in time for Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys, it couldn't have been more perfect... Then it came time to say goodbye to the neighbours...webkeptbinbtouch for a while but as you do, people fall out of touch. They'd likely be very old now or have passed. I

Well done to those boys. Just imagine what the world could be like with more people embracing kindness to others.

With all the ways young people are faulted, I find them much more acceptable of peers with autism and other difficulties. Much more than when I was at school in the 80s/90s. I think it's due to increases inclusivity of mainstream schools. They just grow up around it.

I know of this story already. Young man picked a good festival to go to. I know some people who go and love Boomtown. It's a festival full of good people. These people are wonderful for helping him have an awesome experience.

young people 'men' get a bad rap because a few numpties make headlines every so often this is not my experience...the kids, both male and female, really are alright!!

As a parent myself, I can understand that worry about your child not fitting in or being ostracized and the big sigh of relief when you see them welcomed into a space. He's right, those parents raised wonderful boys and I hope they see the results of their hard work
