Somehow I missed this when it was first shown on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions…. DDP’s WWF announcer tryout from 1990 with Lord Alfred Hayes!

DDP was trying to do a mixture of Jesse Ventura with a sprinkle of Piper. It didn't work personally for me. I'll say this. Sean Mooney & Lord Alfred was another fun commentary team that doesn't get enough love for some reason?

No one can ever blame DDP for lacking energy, I'll give him that.

Love the energy. Reminds me of Pat McAfee. Maybe they should have put him on color commentary.

All we need now are the 2 matches him & Hayes did commentary on.

I would have loved for The Iron Sheik to put Lord Alfred in The Camel Clutch and make him humble

A lot of 2001 WWF is like, *really* dumb from a creative logic and story standpoint, but I still just love it man. Angle becomes one of the best in the world, and Steve Austin’s work this year is elite.

This was the ONLY time Hulk Hogan ever took a Stone Cold Stunner from Steve Austin. And it wasn't even shown on TV 😭

One of my favorite random "Wait, WTF?" matches is Michael Hayes vs Tracy Smothers from July 1999 in WWF Hayes was only 40 & with the way he could talk & brawl it might've been interesting if he could make a real comeback Vince Russo on commentary adds to the strangeness of this

Back in 2003, was watching Spike TV. Probably for WWF Raw. This show called Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (MXC) was on. It was from Japan, but with American voiceovers. Hilarious. To this day, the hardest I have ever laughed was from this clip. 22 years later, still funny.

“I don’t believe in sedevacantism” When I first saw this clip from his talks on the subject, I was personally leaning towards sedeprivationism, thank the Lord that didn’t happen and I just went to the SSPX.

(1998) Stone Cold Steve Austin wins his first WWF Championship at Wrestlemania 14. It is still one of the greatest finishes ever. The final image of this Wrestlemania was Shawn Michaels on his back with an Austin 3:16 shirt on his face after being knocked out by Mike Tyson.

Aoki Lapis also had a private voicebank on this software. I reprinted a pretty obscure demonstration from when she was used as an announcer at the Osaki train station on my archive channel.

Someone pointed out that when I first posted this, I missed the original tone by not playing it on a Les Paul. So here goes, on my 1995 Tom Murphy…

I thought it was pretty weird back then when I was breaking it down, but I wanted to bring this back up. It’s kind of crazy after Bernie Mac died from pneumonia All of a sudden when he was healthy and Steve Harvey blew up.

I didn't know what this was, but I somehow got it on my first try. I feel like this is one of those things where if I try to replicate this, I'm never gonna fucking get it ever again LOL
