Someone built a web-based System Design Simulator, where you drag & drop architecture components and actually simulate traffic, failures, latency, and scaling in real time, System design just got way more interactive.

This is built by @lordpratap. Here’s the link:

This is actually brilliant for learning system design. Way better than static diagrams in textbooks. Being able to visualize how components interact under different loads is huge for understanding trade-offs.

most people just draw diagrams. builders simulate and stress test. real-time data is the only way to validate if your system actually scales.

Cool stuff. Though someone built it before and this one seems like a copy. Not saying that it is, just that there are a lot of similarities. Here's the old one :

System design as a playable tower defense? Genius. Visualizing latency bottlenecks beats drawing boxes in Excalidraw any day. Link it or it's vaporware.

Got one similar that has gesture control so you can use your hands lol

I'll bet it's a nice looking chrome dev wrapper. Not knocking. If yes that's smart.

Finally! Reading diagrams is one thing, but actually seeing the 'cascading failure' happen in real-time is a game changer for learning. This is going to save so many people from dry whiteboard interviews.
