I see this all the time. Post-wall women (who married pre-wall) get a divorce, thinking they can jump back into the dating market and have men tripping over themselves to be with them. They thought it would be a jacuzzi, but it turns out to be an ice bath.

"Attractive" is a quality others assign to you. It's not one you assign yourself. And if you do, you immediately aren't attractive. My two cents.
