Someone sent this in from County Road

That is the illegal mosque at 30 County Road. Been running for a few years now. They have put a single story extension in the back and a basement. Major renovations without planning permission but no enforcement from the council either!

I didn't know that was a mosque until the night of all the kick-offs and the looting a few years ago. They were looting the shops by where the KFC used to be, and a shitload of police just surrounded what I thought was a random building by the B&M. They stood there in their riot gear, not moving from that area and letting all the rats smash and loot shops. They even set the library on fire, and the police just watched. Then, someone told me, 'That building they are surrounding is a mosque and it instantly made sense. The optics that night had never been clearer about where the police stand: 'We will watch while your neighborhoods are burned and looted, but we will protect this mosque with our lives, even when it's not being attacked.' Because no one knew they had made a secret mosque, but the police definitely knew.
