thats what i love about this game man, its just so gritty. No kill cams, prox chat cuts out immediately. One second you're cold, gun caked in mud, your homies blood on your hands, you just killed an enemy soldier, wired with adrenaline, the next second its lights out. War is hell

Really more games should have that type of feature (especially realistic shooters like a Roblox game has it but "simulators" cant?), its cool and mostly honestly funny lmao

My favorite thing about this game is how you can commit war crimes on downed players by either shotgunning them or dropping a grenade. I also love putting a mine on them so I get a double kill if a medic comes

Day of Defeat jumped in difficulty when you turned off death notices. You couldn't tell if the grenade killed the guy in the house or not, etc.

This + the immense amount of pain that you'll ever felt for at least 1 minute while you're confused because your brain is damaged and cannot register what's happening while trying to keep you alive.

This is why HLL is peak

You do not experience anything after death as far as we know. You can experience a lot dying however, flashing life etc. but not just darkness. So the video suggest instant death... which should then have the video end abruptly instead of holding on a black image for some time.

battlefield 2 was like this, when you get bombed you get black screen

Actually, it is scarier than that! The bullet would kill you before the sound of it being fired would reach you. So your vision would just go black without you even knowing what happened

I hope you know seeing black after death is impossible because you need a brain to process color
