Vr is already widely used in many games and simulations. This would be insane.

What is the difference between VR, and using a headset for the mouse head tracking and just playing the game? Isn't every game "VR" if you can just use head tracking for mouse look?

We've been on the same idea from a different angle: VRMirror. No mod, no game files touched. DayZ streams from PC to Quest 3 (NVENC HEVC), head tracking drives aim, Quest controllers map to KB/M. Curved screen, auto body turn, sprint/walk on stick.

Would be great if TrackIR worked with DayZ again.

Wouldn't it be just better to have your inventory as a 2d grid on the right ? , also no hotkey or some kind of shortcut ?

I have a vr headset gathering dust but for this i might pull it out the box. If you crack full motion control with the hands 🤩

Make it to where u can open drawers and cabinets with your hands to get loot.
