here's the storyboard / animatic i did for our film 🐜 (+ my test sound), and the rough animation base i did for the chase sequence, to make sure the flow worked well the storyboard was so fun to create, im happy! thanks to my teammates and to the teachers, especially Etienne !

Diving into animation for the first time in many years felt exciting and new. These took a long time to make, but I really wanted to make something special for this franchise that’s been such a huge part of my life since I was little. Nina Lin got rejected from Kai's Streamer University for misspelling the word Chinese while wanting to be a language professor In the interview, Lin offered a response to the controversies she's had in the past year "I'm ngl it was a lot, even for me personally and I go through mad sh*t so I was like d*mn what do I do..and in moment I was like I did not bust my a*s for all this for no reason, yes I may have messed up but I try to do right so I hit up all these ppl..talk to them..anything I can do to make it right..obviously they don't have to reply" "What I thought is, the only way I can make it better..I have a platform..for them to see the difference, the changes..see me be a better person but at the same time keep going with what I got going on"

Shermie's rig finished! I just need to organize the file and upload it, but here's a preview. I experimented with hybrid IK/FK for the tongue and ponytail, which means you don't need to switch between the two for them to work simultaneously.

"honestly, i don't think i'm very good at letting (my characters) go. once i take on a project, i end up doing it for about 8 to 10 months, and i feel like my way of speaking and habits from that time remain a bit. so even after a project wraps up, that character actually stays with me for a while. but when that happens, i try as much as possible not to do the things that the character used to do for 8 months. for example like a certain posture or things like that. and then i cut my hair from when i played that character to try and see a different image of myself too. but honestly, even if i cut my hair, that character doesn't really go away. so for me, honestly, rather than saying 'i'm letting them go', i just always cherish them and no matter what project i do in the future, i feel like there will still be moments where i think of that character. since i consider (those) moments to be a part of who i am too, i actually really like seeing those moments keep piling up within me."
