Buy a dechoking device keep them in your home and cars. There are many of them on the market. Do your own research but these devices have saved many lives. The most important thing is to call 911 and not to panic.

All families should take a CPR class, especially through the American Red Cross. If your child loses consciousness bc the object is still in there, you’ll need the heart to keep circulation at 100 beats per minute (no mouth to mouth) while the ambulance is on the way.

Yep. My uncle choked on something and died. Few decades ago. If only someone could’ve helped him he’d be alive today

My nephew started choking in front my whole family everyone froze as I vaulted the couch and got to him (he was like 7) immediately hit him with the heimlich, probably a little too violently but he was breathing again in a few seconds so it worked
