I’ve said this before: it’s a heartwarming story but absolutely disgusting that the richest country in the world has to rely on children to buy their own playground equipment.

It's a beautiful gesture ❤️. Sad to see though, it's something not provided by any public institution. It's not a matter of the kids to be worry about that, it's a common issue we should to solve with a public support system. Inclusion is a citizen duty.

I still feel really bad that the other children had to be the ones to see the problem & care enough to work so hard to fix it. That the adults didn't have that issue addressed in the first place.

I posted this last night. Great story about the kids, not a good look for the adults in charge at the district office

These are always so damn bittersweet. There should always be some kind of inclusive option for kids with different needs. Good for the future generation stepping up and being that difference. Let's see them carry it on to adulthood.

Nope I cried. And that's ok. Happy tears are good tears.

Makes me think of the filthy rich like Elon Musk, not one good deed that I’m aware of.

Always mixed feelings about this stuff. It’s so sweet and lovely but the initial LACK was unacceptable. Now schools know, and now they do what they need to do. Let the kids PLAY, not do the work the adults should have done!

@marrs_edward This is awesome. When I was a kid my teacher would have said, "that's just the way it is" and told everyone to get back to studying. The only thing that is unfortunate about this is that the equipment costs $300,000.
