This video highlights contexts that I believe is missing from the executive order. It’s fine to retire a flag by burning it. It’s another thing entirely when you have individuals from other countries come here and burn the flag as a message that they hate us. That’s where I believe the executive order comes into play. And those immigrants technically aren’t protected by the constitution until they become American citizens and pledge allegiance to the American flag.
