Something i really miss in the Formula One is the pre-qualifying for every Grand Prix. It was common in the late 1980s and early 1990s. When grid existed out of 30+ cars and drivers had to pre-qualify for the official qualifying session. Here the report for Imola 91 #RetroF1

Since we’re doing #F1 memories of the #Malaysia Grand Prix, thought I’d share my first run in qualifying in 2002. I remember being in good shape after FP2 but unbeknownst to the engineer and me #asiatech decided to change the TC maps before qualifying. Made it quite challenging.
