Something I’ve learned over the years is, being “liked” doesn’t make you a great leader. What makes a great leader is the respect you gain by encouraging, inspiring, and empowering others to be the best they can be. Show integrity today that might earn someone’s respect tomorrow!

My father taught me that respect is not something earned. It something practiced, given and modeled. Respect eventually becomes a foundational trust between people. Not because you were liked but because you walked the talk of your belief and remained consistent.
