I think the show itself is better. I think there's something in this that allows me to like stay in my life while I'm doing it and therefore I think allows me to take care of myself better, which I think makes me better at doing the thing. It's not like I'm saying I'll never travel again, but I want to see what it looks like if you do it a different way. And you know, people in my band have like families now and kids and some aspect of that, too. It's really important to me that they're on the road that I would love to like have them and I don't want to make it like near impossible for them to be able to do that with me.”

But the passion I need to recharge by myself is the resources needed in acting. Let's say life goes like, "Ooh, I'm happy! 📈" and then the next day it drops📉. Those ups and downs give me resources I can use for acting. But if life is just a straight line, then I don't really know what resources I could get from it. Some resources just can't be used anymore. Or maybe, when a character feels a certain way, and it's something I've already been through, and I can stay with it and handle it now, then I can't really use it. So I have to find something new. "Let's just say I woke up"... Omoni Oboli I have had enough and want to call you out! 💔 I very much enjoyed "LOVE IN EVERY WORD" cause it tickled my fantasy on how love is hoped or imagined to be... Wonderdul piece and very entertaining with humor. But I watched a movie today, that made me cry so much. I cried so much because unlike every movie that is for entertainment, my life flashed before my eyes, my prayer point exposed on the big screen like it was judgement day. My fears... my fears became my conviction because the unknown became my biggest blessing in an instant. I have been so passionate about the future and how I want to succeed in every aspect of it and I prayed for an ambitious partner in every sense... I always look forward to comparing the present state of a person to their future using the same variables and character if life were to be fast-forwarded(I did so to myself too), and my biggest fear became commitment. But right now, after watching this movie, I just learned to trust my present situation and that of those God has blessed me with. I believe this movie was a msg to my mind and a gospel to my fearful heart. 💘 And to my woman, baby, if you get to see this, just know that I appreciate you in every sense and i know tomorrow will be good but better with you in it. In 2009, after two back surgeries, my doctors told me I would never walk again without the assistance of a cane or walker. I gave up. l wrote out my suicide note and was ready to end it all. But, in that moment, my three-year-old son Matthew walked into my bedroom and saved my life. I truly believe it was an intervention from God. After that moment, I cried out to God and told him that if he showed me the way, I would put in the hard work to dig myself out of that bed and dig my family out of poverty. My mindset changed. I used to see myself as a victim. I would ask myself "Why me?" After that moment, I started to tell myself "Why not me?" I worked hard to overcome the obstacles I faced in my life and I will work even harder to become the first black Republican elected to Congress in the history of Ohio.

"honestly, i don't think i'm very good at letting (my characters) go. once i take on a project, i end up doing it for about 8 to 10 months, and i feel like my way of speaking and habits from that time remain a bit. so even after a project wraps up, that character actually stays with me for a while. but when that happens, i try as much as possible not to do the things that the character used to do for 8 months. for example like a certain posture or things like that. and then i cut my hair from when i played that character to try and see a different image of myself too. but honestly, even if i cut my hair, that character doesn't really go away. so for me, honestly, rather than saying 'i'm letting them go', i just always cherish them and no matter what project i do in the future, i feel like there will still be moments where i think of that character. since i consider (those) moments to be a part of who i am too, i actually really like seeing those moments keep piling up within me."

Yeobeen: When Cobweb was released, I had the opportunity to do stage greetings with SKH sunbaenim, Soojungie and senior actors, and there was something that I said a lot on stage. There is a term that perfectly suits Cobweb. It is '중꺾그마'. The important thing is the will to keep going even if you are broken. No matter how much it breaks, it's okay as long as you have a heart that believes, and it can become an engine for turning something not real into something real. If anyone is hesitating and doesn't believe in their own path, I really want to support them by telling them that it's okay to believe. And in Cobweb, there is a line that I really like. "Am I talentless?" and dir. Kim Yeol would respond with, "Believing in yourself is a talent." When it comes to having belief towards someone other than myself, it seems so natural and a beautiful feeling. I want to give that kind of belief and trust to others. But I don't understand why it's so difficult for me to do that to myself. But when I heard that line in the movie, I felt so good. So I hope I can believe in myself as much as I believe in others, or when I feel like I can't trust someone, I want to be able to trust myself with that love that I have. Anyway I am so grateful and thankful. And I will repay with my passionate acting.

I think a lot about the relationship I have with my own inner demons. It’s never been easy for me to face how I get seduced by chaos and turmoil. It makes me feel claustrophobic. Disease is about facing that fear, facing myself and my inner darkness, and realizing that sometimes I can’t win or escape the parts of myself that scare me. That I can try and run from them but they are still part of me and I can run and run but eventually I’ll meet that part of myself again, even if only for a moment. I think a lot about the relationship I have with my own inner demons. It’s never been easy for me to face how I get seduced by chaos and turmoil. It makes me feel claustrophobic. Disease is about facing that fear, facing myself and my inner darkness, and realizing that sometimes I can’t win or escape the parts of myself that scare me. That I can try and run from them but they are still part of me and I can run and run but eventually I’ll meet that part of myself again, even if only for a moment. Dancing, morphing, running, purging. Again and again, back with myself. This integration is ultimately beautiful to me because it’s mine and I’ve learned to handle it. I am the conductor of my own symphony. I am every actor in the plays that are my art and my life. No matter how scary the question, the answers are inside of me. Essential, inextricable parts of what makes me me. I save myself by keeping going. I am the whole me, I am strong, and I am up for the challenge. Happy Halloween.
