It is dumb, especially compared to guys who physically and emotionally abused players. Those guys, a few years away and they're "rehabilitated." Chayka was working for the worst organization in the league just trying to survive

We all know why Chayka is treated differently from Quennville or Bowman. They won. That's it. If the Yotes won while he was there nobody would say anything.

The difference is pretty clear and it has to do if you’re in “the club” or not. Joe Quenneville is viewed as a respected coach despite what went on in Chicago, and John Chayka is viewed as a used car salesman in the league because crossed intraleague lines other GMs/Scouts don’t like. It has nothing to do with “he thinks different”
