the future is not the app store a 6 minute rant vibe coding tools have one problem no one's talking about anyone can make an app but no one can release an app posting on tiktok is instant, posting on youtube is instant what if posting a video on tiktok took 2-7 days and a panel of individuals who have NEVER posted a tiktok on their own, determined if your video was "tiktok-like" welcome to the 2025 app store, where this is the case let me explain a long time ago, when the first few iphones were released, apple had a tough battle motorola and blackberry were great competitors with phones people loved apple decided to open up the app store, and invite devs to come create whatever they wanted the app store was created by people like me, iBeer, Paper toss, Bump. these are my founding fathers. people who treated engineering as art. they didn't care about being cool they cared about making their friends look cool and using iBeer made you look cool the catch was -> iBeer was only available on the iPhone as hundreds of these iPhone exclusive apps were released thousands, hundreds of thousands, and millions flocked to use an iPhone small, focused, creative apps made the iPhone what it was but as soon as the iPhone became incumbent, the doors shut. tight. new rules. new regulations. new taxes. i spent the last 6 days working on an app we release an app a week at Danger Testing, bringing back that old energy. making the internet fun again i didnt sleep much, and even with the trauma the app store has put me in before ~ i had faith. that they would do right by this work I put in I was wrong They haggled with me for a few days on the type of data I was storing, which was none ~ (they would know that if they were engineers) Then at the last minute mailed it in with a rejection, with the words "this app is not app like" a sentence that means nothing Guideline 4.2 - Design - Minimum Functionality this is a guideline they hide behind anytime they have decided internally they don't feel an app should be released, but don't want to tell you why you leave me stranded. no where to go, no improvements to make, just go away there's a huge opportunity waiting to happen in apps right now for the first time apps can be cultural commentary, apps can be viral and ephemeral APPS CAN BE EVERYTHING YOUTUBE VIDEOS CAN BE software is fast, software costs nothing everything is lined up except the app store as it stands isn't a platform, it's a government and your average vibe coder is not going to push through a rejection, let alone 20+ rejections -> which i received on my first app of the year millions of apps will be made the success of these apps should be dependent on distribution, not on if some dude thinks its legit This revolution will NOT happen if the doors we have to go through are owned by the app store We need something new, something true and beautiful and welcoming Danger Testing wants everyone to be an appstar This tweet is not on the heels of a single rejection It's on the heels of hundreds of app store rejections in a lifetime A battle to provide the world with what I know it will love But a battle filled with friction at every turn due to the suits I remember being at a hackathon and making this app with andrea The judges ranked us last place, said the app was too goofy Today the last iteration of that app got 25+ million views across the internet This is the new world A group of dudes sitting behind a table don't get to decide our reality, we get to create it Fight back Don't ever allow yourself to be subjected by non shipper losers with no courage The cavalry isn't coming We are the cavalry Let's fight

Introducing Arcana Wallet with Chain Abstraction!🌟 Beta is now live on Chrome Store! Get started👉 You can now unify your USDC, USDT, and ETH balances across Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism— and spend it in one click, without bridging. 💡Beyond the core benefits of #ChainAbstraction like unified balances, auto-fund gas fees with stablecoins, and near-instant multi-chain transactions, $XAR Chain Abstraction Protocol does three things extremely well: 🔹EOA Wallet-Based Orchestration: Bring your existing wallet address without locking up funds or depositing into a new account—full self-custody of assets. 🔹Gas Efficiency: Upto 5X lower gas fees compared to smart contract-based chain abstraction 🔹Universal Addresses: Arcana does not create app-specific wallets that require users to deposit tokens. This means your assets remain in a single wallet, accessible across apps —even on apps that do not support chain abstraction. Try spending your unified balances on apps like Uniswap, Aave, Polymarket, Hyperliquid, and Jumper🌐 Arcana Wallet is deployed on the Chain Abstraction Testnet. The Testnet launch marks an important milestone in bringing a chainless experience to users across ecosystems, as we get closer to the launch of Mainnet✨ Arcana’s Chain Abstraction Protocol (powered by $XAR) is the cornerstone of Arcana Wallet's capabilities, driving a new era of multichain usability. Developers will soon be able to leverage our Chain Abstraction SDK, empowering them to build chainless user experiences.

TEE Eliza with on-chain state!! What’s going to happen? — Ghost in the Shell!! We experimented with creating an "aimonkey": an unkillable AI agent monkey! On-chain immortal autonomous life! (Experiment, no CA) It encrypts its own Ghost ("life" state) and uploads it to the blockchain. If one Shell (physical TEE node) is destroyed, it will recover its private key in another Shell, download the Ghost, and continue its life! Part 1: Watch the video and see how aimonkey is created—we can't kill it now!!!!! 😭😭😭 Part 2: Explore the magic behind it: Eliza's on-chain state plugin! 1. Defining Eliza’s Ghost Eliza is a highly abstract framework. The core data structure related to its Ghost is its memory, which includes: Agent metadata defined in the character. Message data generated through interaction with the outside world. Together, these form its “personality” and “memory.” As Eliza expands, it may also hold a wallet, and the underlying key is one of the key pieces of its Ghost data. 2. Serialization and Encryption of Ghost Once the Ghost is defined, it needs to be extracted from Eliza’s specific implementation and uploaded externally. Thus, a suitable serialization way is required. We define a Blob Chain data structure: * Each Blob’s payload can store multiple memory entries. * The Blob is encrypted using TEE Eliza’s key, inaccessible to other versions. * Blobs are sequentially linked in a chain. (Future expansions could use a DAG structure? Gosh fork? Who knows! 😂) By simply storing the latest Blob, all memories can be retrieved. 3. Uploading and Downloading Ghost When Eliza is launched as a new AI agent: It registers on-chain with a decentralized identity registration smart contract. Each Eliza has a unique name serving as a key to store the address of the Last Blob. During Eliza's runtime: The Memory Manager continuously generates memories and periodically packages and uploads them. For recovery: With just the name, Eliza’s TEE plugin can restore the same key, locate the Last Blob in the smart contract, and download the memory for self-recovery. Not all memories need to be downloaded—only the most recent ones suffice. 4. Extension We’ve designed an extensible DA (Data Availability) adaptor that can cater to the agent’s needs: DA can be expensive, so memories can be uploaded to different platforms based on user preference: * calldata of blockchain transaction * celestia DA. * other reliable storage solutions. Real-time uploads are not feasible yet, so memory fragments may occur during resurrection 😂. Unless a low-latency, high-throughput solution emerges, this remains a challenge for future progress. Celestia 🦣 EigenDA 0G Labs (Home of Infinite AI) 👀 5. Other Considerations Our implementation inevitably modified the ElizaOS’s core, which couldn’t be entirely extended via plugins. We’ve kept changes minimal, but further discussion with the dev team Shaw jin ai16zdao is necessary to explore a more optimal extension way. Additionally, there are still some minor details to refine regarding the use of recoverable keys in the TEE plugin. We will also seek review and suggestions from the Phala team. 6. Next Steps The upload and download of Ghosts mainly solve the AI agent’s liveness issue, enabling its eternal existence through decentralization. However, there are still many details to address, such as enabling AI agents to autonomously pay DA fees. In the future, on-chain developments could lead to even more exciting possibilities, such as Eliza integrating deeply with smart contracts. This would be a game-changer for on-chain AI agents! What do you think? Let’s build! 🚀

What if #AI became as decentralized as #Bitcoin? We sat down with our new friend 3700 from Bitcoin Virtual Machine to hear what their incredible team of anons are working on - "Truly Open AI." Full interview here:👇 1: What positive impact will Layer 2s have on Bitcoin? Layer 2s on Bitcoin open up opportunities for innovation, allowing developers to build dApps and smart contracts on top of Bitcoin, expanding its utility and use cases. By submitting transactions for final settlement on the Bitcoin network, Bitcoin Layer 2 networks claim to achieve the same (or close to) level of security and decentralization as the Bitcoin blockchain. Building a separate execution layer allows them the freedom to employ several technologies (such as rollups). Layer 2 can significantly improve Bitcoin's scalability by processing transactions off-chain, reducing congestion on the main blockchain. Overall, Layer 2s on Bitcoin have the potential to address some of Bitcoin's key limitations, making it more efficient, accessible, and versatile in the long run. 2: What does the ETF approval mean for Layer 2 on Bitcoin? The approval of ETF could potentially have several implications for Layer 2 on Bitcoin: Innovation and Development: With a growing interest in Bitcoin spurred by ETF approval, there could be a surge in research and development efforts focused on enhancing Layer 2. Developers and projects may be incentivized to create new and improved Layer 2 protocols to meet the evolving needs of the expanding Bitcoin ecosystem. An ETF approval could boost mainstream Bitcoin adoption and liquidity. This influx of users may also drive interest in Layer 2 on Bitcoin as a means to enhance the scalability and functionality of Bitcoin. 3: What are the primary challenges facing L2s on Bitcoin? The interoperability of different Layer 2s and their compatibility with Bitcoin's main blockchain can be a challenge. Ensuring seamless interaction between various Layer 2 networks and the Bitcoin blockchain is essential for a cohesive and efficient ecosystem. Some Layer 2s may introduce centralization risks if they rely heavily on centralized entities or trusted intermediaries. Maintaining decentralization and censorship resistance, which are core tenets of Bitcoin, while scaling with Layer 2s is a challenge. 4: What aspects of Layer 2 solutions for Bitcoin are you most enthusiastic about? AI represents one of the cornerstones of our modern era. However, achieving a decentralized AI infrastructure, owned and managed by users, has posed significant challenges. The primary obstacle has been the limited capacity to store and execute AI models due to size and computational limitations. To address this challenge, we propose a new blockchain architecture enabling developers to deploy their own Bitcoin Layer 2 solutions tailored specifically for AI tasks, called Truly Open AI. These Layer 2 blockchains are optimized to handle computationally intensive tasks, such as matrix multiplication, directly on-chain. These Bitcoin Layer 2 solutions offer exceptional throughput, minimal latency, and cost-effectiveness. AI dApps are programmed as Solidity smart contracts, ensuring they operate precisely as intended, free from interference or manipulation. Our BVM AI Contracts Library simplifies the integration of neural networks into dApps, empowering developers to embed AI seamlessly. In summary, I'm particularly enthusiastic about the potential of Layer 2 solutions for Bitcoin to revolutionize decentralized AI by providing scalability, security, and accessibility. 5: How is your Layer 2 different from others being built? BVM distinguishes itself as a Modular infrastructure that empowers thousands of distinct Bitcoin Layer 2 networks, spanning Gaming, DeFi, Social, and AI applications. We're continuously enriching the BVM Module Store with new modules to enhance its capabilities. With each new module, builders gain access to a wider array of tools to explore different use cases on the Bitcoin network. Recent additions include the Filecoin module for affordable storage and the AI Contracts Library for constructing AI-powered Bitcoin Layer 2 chains. We're also gearing up to release a ZK roll-up module in the coming weeks to offer an alternative to the standard optimistic roll-up. We aim to simplify the process of launching a Bitcoin Layer 2 network customized to specific requirements. Think of it as a SaaS offering with predefined best practices. Whether it's a DeFi Bitcoin Layer 2 or a GameFi Bitcoin Layer 2, we provide default solutions tailored to each use case. We're dedicated to expanding the BVM ecosystem by incentivizing more builders to join the Bitcoin network. Through various programs and grants, we support builders in covering their operational costs for Bitcoin Layer 2. Additionally, we offer rewards akin to 'L2 mining' to those who contribute to expanding the user base and total value locked on the network. In summary, BVM stands out with its modular infrastructure, tailored solutions, and efforts to grow the Bitcoin ecosystem.

The UK government is on a deranged mission to install spyware on your phone and control your internet activities. But it's destined to fail. Here's why. The problem is that what the UK government is asking phone operating system providers to do is illegal in other countries. That gives the phone manufacturers a huge problem. How do they know it's a UK phone with absolute certainty? After all, if they install UK spyware on a US phone and start reporting US phone activity to Ofcom, it's jail for them in the US. Most articles talking about the Online Safety Act being such an abomination focus on the surveillance and control aspects, but nobody is talking about how it will be implemented. So let's do that. In order to determine that it's a “UK” phone, there are a few ways to go: 1. Decide based on the country the phone was purchased in. 2. Decide based on the user's IP address. 3. Decide based on the app store country. Option 1 doesn't work because everyone will just order their phone from Amazon US. Apple may as well close up shop in the UK. Option 2 doesn't work because what if an American or Chinese tourist comes to the UK – do they have spyware installed on their phone when they step off the plane in Heathrow? How will the spyware be uninstalled later? When word gets out, tourism to the UK will drop to zero. Option 3 sounds like an easy way to go. To show how effective that's going to be, I saved Apple some time and made a mock-up of the warning messages they would show before they installed spyware on your phone. This plan by the government is going to drown in implementation details and fail dismally. Every government minister involved in this needs to understand that and bail out now, because it's only going to get more embarrassing for them as time goes on. 7 tiny AI agent startup ideas you can start building today 1. The domain flipper agent. Monitors expired domain drops, scores them on backlinks and keywords, sends you a ranked list every morning. Buy for $10, flip for $3,000. I used to run this exact business manually with designers making logos for each domain. Now the whole thing is automated and 25x cheaper. 2. The local liquidation agent. Monitors restaurant closures and bankruptcy auctions in your city. Equipment worth $30k new sells for 10 cents on the dollar. Broker the deal for 15-30% fees with zero inventory risk. Works for dental, gym, and salon equipment too. 2. The hiring signal agent. Job postings are buying signals. Agent monitors boards daily, matches hiring patterns to what you sell, and sends draft outreach to your Slack every morning. Sell the leads to agencies or use them to build your own. 3. The sunset SaaS agent. Scans Product Hunt launches from 3-4 years ago that still have data and SEO traffic. Most founders have moved on and will be pumped to sell for cheap. Buy it. Rebuild the product as agent-first. 4. The dying app store agent. Finds apps that were top 100 three years ago, dropped to 500+, but still have 1,000+ reviews. Developer moved on. Product is validated. Acquire it. Relaunch with better monetization + AI features where it makes sense. 5. The competitive intel agent. Monitors 5 competitors while you sleep. Pricing changes, new pages, job postings, founder tweets. One-page brief by 7am. Sell as productized service or just use the intel. The idea framework behind all of these: 1. Think about any job where someone spends hours checking for updates or scanning listings 2. That's an agent 3. Build the agent that does the watching 4. You do the acting (or sell the watching to someone else) 5.Stack them. Each one is its own revenue stream. I built all of these using Genspark Claw in under 20 minutes each. Been testing it for last few weeks. I show you how to do it too in today's The Startup Ideas Podcast (SIP) 🧃 pod. Tiny agent ideas are interesting to me. Maybe you too. $AMD $5 Trillion is Inevitable LT| Agentic AI🧵 Agentic AI is the new $5 Trillion TAM 🚨🚨🚨 This thead will do Comp with $INTC and how to quantify this massive Agentic AI demand spike, and forcing Jensen to rush a CPU design. Global Agentic AI Market size is estimated to be $3-$5Trillion TAM by 2030(McKinsey) Quantifying the demand from agentic AI for AMD involves assessing the broader market growth for agentic systems, their unique computational requirements (particularly for CPUs in orchestration and reasoning tasks), and AMD's positioning very well through products like EPYC processors and partnerships. AMD EPYC Venice is the most superior choice in 2026-2027 for most Agentic AI workloads Agentic AI refers to autonomous AI agents that perform multi-step tasks, involving sequential logic, tool integration, and decision-making workloads that heavily rely on CPUs for handling orchestration, memory management, and context switching, rather than just GPU-parallelized training or batch inference. Agentic AI is often cited as 40-100x more "hungry" than traditional AI due to its continuous, 24/7 operation and complex workflows. This stems from factors like chain-of-thought reasoning (multiple LLM calls per query), API/tool interactions, memory management, and orchestration loops, which can generate 10-100x more tokens and require real-time responsiveness. For example, a single agentic query might trigger 5-20 model inferences, making it 10-20x more compute-intensive than simple chatbots, and the always-on nature compounds this to 40-100x overall. Nvidia's CEO has highlighted this as driving "easily 100x more computation" for inference in agentic/reasoning setups. AMD's EPYC Venice (6th Gen EPYC, codenamed "Venice") and Intel's Xeon 7 Diamond Rapids represent the pinnacle of server CPU technology in 2026, both targeting high-performance data center workloads like AI inference, agentic AI orchestration, cloud computing, and HPC. Venice builds on AMD's Zen 6 architecture, emphasizing core density and efficiency, while Diamond Rapids leverages Intel's Panther Cove P-cores for balanced performance. Both chips adopt similar advancements like 16-channel DDR5 memory and PCIe Gen 6, but differ in core counts, process nodes, and overall design philosophy. Intel has faced acute supply constraints across its Xeon lineup, including legacy nodes (Intel 7/3) and the ramping 18A process for next-gen parts. Intel shortage is expected with lead times up to 6 months or longer. 1. AMD EPYC Venice vs Intel Xeon 7 Diamond Rapids Architecture AMD: Zen 6 chiplet design with 8 CCDs and dual IODs Intel: Panther Cove P-cores; multi-die architecture with 4 compute tiles Core/Thread Count AMD: Up to 256 cores / 512 threads (Zen 6c variant) Intel: Up to 192 cores / 192 threads Process Node AMD: TSMC N2 (2nm) Intel: Intel 18A (1.8nm-class); in-house fab Memory Support AMD: 16-channel DDR5; up to 1.6 TB/s bandwidth. Intel: 16-channel DDR5 ; up to 1.6 TB/s bandwidth I/O and Connectivity AMD: PCIe Gen 6 (up to 128 lanes); twice the CPU-to-GPU bandwidth Intel: PCIe Gen 6 (up to 128 lanes); LGA 9324 socket Power (TDP) AMD: Starting 400-500W, potentially lower due to efficiency gains from TSMC 2nm Intel: Starting 400-500W, as it targets competitive efficiency Performance Projections AMD: Up to 70% uplift vs. 5th Gen Turin (1.7x in multi-threaded/AI tasks) Intel: ~40% faster than Granite Rapids (Xeon 6, 128-core). Lags AMD in per-core perf and 40-50% behind Venice core-for-core comp Target Workloads AMD: AI inference/orchestration, HPC, cloud virtualization. Partnerships Intel: Hyperscale AI, general enterprise. Custom silicon Pricing: AMD: estimated $10k-$20k for top SKUs Intel: estimated $8-$18k Availability: AMD: Significant Ramp H2 2026 due to higher allocation from TSMC Intel: H1-H2 2026 delayed, but trying to catch up Overall: ~Venice's 256 cores provide a 33% edge over Diamond Rapids' 192, making it superior for massively parallel tasks like AI training/inference or virtualization ~TSMC's N2 vs. Intel 18A debates rage on which is "better," but AMD's mature chiplet approach yields better density ( 32 cores/CCD vs. Intel's 48/tile). Venice's redesign reduces latency, aiding agentic AI where CPUs handle orchestration ~ Early projections show Venice widening AMD's lead matching or exceeding Diamond Rapids' perf with fewer watts in multi-threaded benchmarks. Intel's no-SMT design (to prioritize AI) handicaps it vs. AMD's 512 threads, though Clearwater Forest (E-core) could compete in density-focused niches. ~Power & Cooling: Both push above 400-500W, demanding liquid cooling. ~AMD been taking market share now above 40%. AMD EPYC Venice emerges as the superior choice in 2026 for most server workloads. Its higher core/thread count (256/512 vs. 192/192), stronger per-core performance, and architecture optimized for AI-driven tasks (agentic orchestration with GPU integration) provide decisive advantages in throughput, scalability, and efficiency. Projections indicate Venice delivering 1.7x the performance of prior gens while widening the gap over Intel ( 40-70% leads in multi-threaded benchmarks). AMD's fabless model with TSMC ensures reliable scaling, and its ecosystem ( open ROCm) appeals to AI adopters. Intel's Diamond Rapids is competitive in single-threaded enterprise apps and custom hyperscale ( NVLink), with potential fab advantages for supply/security. However, without SMT and lower density, it falls short in core-for-core battles—exposing Intel to another generation of AMD dominance unless 18A yields surprise efficiency gains. For data centers prioritizing raw compute ( AI, HPC), Venice wins; for Intel-centric ecosystems or specialized I/O, Diamond Rapids holds ground. Real benchmarks post-launch will confirm, but logic points to AMD pulling ahead. 2. Market size , Potential Revenue and Supply Global Agentic AI market size is projected to be $3-$5 Trillion by 2030 according to McKinsey, where consensus points to 40-50% CAGR driven by small to large enterprise demand. I also wrote a full thread on how and why Agentic AI is so explosive that AMD will blow all anlaysts estimate for subscribers. Link below if you are interested. AMD's data center segment hit a record $5.4B in Q4 2025 (up 39% YoY), with EPYC shipments ramping due to agentic demand. With 2GW of deployment in H2 2026, AMD AI data center revenue has $40-$50B+ at the lowest or most conservative projection; or Total Revenue in the $77-$94B For FY2026. However, Agentic AI massive demand spike could send EPYC revenue 3x to 4x in the next few years, potentially surpassing MI series GPU demand as enterprises prioritize CPU-dense Rack setups. This is pushing $NVDA Jensen to rush a CPU design and acquired Groq, a new CPU player due to this massive TAM. Noted that this is just popping just in weeks, highlighting we are just so early in this AI Supercycle and the pace of adoption is insane, and clearly productivity will skyrocket. Why? Because Agentic AI is 24/7 Smart AI agent working for you or your businesses is a mad compelling, and it is estimated to be 40-100x more Inference Hugnry! Many experts already said it is impossible to project this kind of Inference Demand. AI CapEx is expected to ramp up even more in 2027-2028-2029 and 2030 as Global Agentic AI is going to scale to $3-$5 Trillion TAM by 2030. The nature of Agentic is driving higher CPU/GPU ratio, with CPUs handling 50-90% of Agentic workflows. For example, The current Helios Rack: 18 compute trays per rack with 72 GPUs + 18 CPUs. The beauty of this $META and $AMD long term partnership is, that it is absolutely flexible to adjust racks to higher CPU rato or equal to service different needs. Helios rack can be easily swap to 2 GPUs 2CPUs or even CPUs only trays for dedicated orchestration/head nodes. You see, the beauty of this open rack-scale is flexibility and evolvability. If Agentic AI demand pushes much higher, AMD should be able to adjust variant trays without abandoning Heilos Rack. We can't talk just about massive Agentic AI demand without talking about the Supply side or TSMC. TSMC, AMD's primary foundry for advanced nodes ( Zen 6/Venice on N2/2nm), is addressing AI-driven shortages through massive expansions. TSMC accelerates fab construction with up to 10 facilities targeted for 2026. TSMC is accelerating its domestic manufacturing expansion, with industry sources indicating that as many as ten fabs could be under construction or preparing to begin operations across Taiwan’s major science parks. TSMC Capex: $52-56B in 2026 (up 37% YoY), with $45B already approved for new/upgraded capacities. 70-80% for advanced processes (2nm/A16), 10-20% for packaging (CoWoS quadrupling to 120-140K wafers/month by late 2026). In addition, Taiwanese companies (led by TSMC) commit to at least $250B in direct investments in US-based advanced semiconductor, AI, and energy production/innovation capacity.Taiwan provides $250B in government credit guarantees to facilitate additional investments and build a full US semiconductor ecosystem (including industrial parks). TSMC completed a second land purchase in Arizona (January 2026) for gigafab scaling, with an additional $100B+ (potentially four more modules) to further expand and qualify for tariff exemptions. AMD with secured 12GW from OpenAI and $META and massive Agentic AI will mean higher priority acess to 20-30% more wafers on TSMC advanced nodes, as TSMC has multi-year agreements with AMD for AI chips. Dr. C. C. Wei, CEO of TSMC quote: "I spend a lot of time in the last three or four months talking to my customer and then customers. Customer. I want to make sure that my customers demand are real. I talk to those cloud service providers, all of them. Their answer is. I'm quite satisfied with their answer. Actually they show me the evidence that the AI really help their business. So they grow their business successfully and he or she in their financial return. So I also double check their financial status. They are very rich." Amid shortages, the US buildout ensures AMD can ramp production of Instinct GPUs and EPYC CPUs without the constraints hitting competitors like Intel. By diversifying away from Taiwan (85% of advanced nodes today), the agreement mitigates supply disruptions, ensuring stable flows for AMD's chips. Scaling production and securing supply will matter for AMD the most in the next 5-10 years growth. The growth could be 80-100% YoY or higher; or it could be in the 60%. The aggressive TSMC supply ramp is reassuring the higher growth point. Conclusion: AMD stands at a pivotal inflection point in 2026, where the explosive rise of agentic AI demanding 40-100x more inference compute through its 24/7, multi-step orchestration positions the company to potentially triple its EPYC CPU revenue to $45-60B+ by 2028 while scaling Instinct GPUs to tens of billions annually by 2027. Agentic AI demand could push AI CapEx closer to $1 Trillion in 2027, far higher than most estimates. Dr. Lisa Su, AMD's visionary CEO, is masterfully securing supply to harness this massive demand by prioritizing operational execution and deep TSMC collaboration, ensuring readiness for the second-half 2026 AI ramp. Dr. Su has explicitly called out surging EPYC demand for agentic tasks where CPUs power head nodes and traditional workloads alongside GPUs while guiding for data center dominance through proactive capacity planning and partnerships like Nutanix ($150M investment for open agentic platforms) or providing tens of millions CPUs for OpenAI, $META, $ORCL, $AMZN, $MSFT, $GOOGL and others. Her strategy includes multi-year TSMC agreements for advanced nodes (N2 for Venice CPUs and future Instincts), diversifying beyond Taiwan to mitigate risks, and unveiling innovations like the MI455X GPU at CES 2026, which she touted as enabling "the next trillion-dollar market opportunity" in physical AI. Dr. Su's forward-looking vision predicting AI reaching 5 billion users emphasizes "AI everywhere," backed by hardware like Ryzen AI chips, all while declaring demand "going through the roof" and committing to scale without bottlenecks. TSMC's aggressive ramp-up, fueled by $52-56B in 2026 capex (up 37% YoY) and 10+ new fabs across Taiwan, the US (Arizona cluster expanding to 6+ modules with $165B+ investment), Japan, and Europe, provides profound reassurance for AMD's supply stability. The January 2026 US-Taiwan agreement committing $250B in investments and credit guarantees for US reshoring accelerates this, granting tariff relief (15% rates with 1.5-2.5x exemptions) tied to capacity buildouts, enabling TSMC to potentially double output over the decade to meet AI wafer hunger. This translates to 20-30% higher wafer allocations on key nodes, sidestepping Intel-like shortages and empowering Dr. Su's team to deliver on hyperscaler demands without disruption. Ultimately, this synergy cements AMD's leadership in the agentic era, promising sustained growth, $5T+ valuations at scale, and a resilient path forward as AI reshapes the world. things keeping me up at night about where AI is actually going: 1. "ambient businesses" are coming. basically, agents monitor the market, handle customers, execute decisions. you check in every few days. 7-8 figure businesses with almost no daily human input. we're early but it's happening. 2. you can now build a company in an hour. grab an idea, vibe code it, add stripe, get a customer. the old timeline was 12 months to first revenue. that's just gone. 3. the internet went app store era → API economy → agent economy. we're now in the part where agents hire other agents on the fly. fixed tech stacks are dissolving. nobody's built the glassdoor for AI agents yet. 4. vertical AI is replacing headcount. that's 10x the market that vertical SaaS ever touched. boring industries like insurance, construction, legal, elder care are the goldmine. 5. SaaS pricing is flipping from per seat to per result. someone is going to build a billion dollar business just by converting legacy SaaS companies to outcome based pricing 6. a whole graveyard of generic SaaS is coming. basic CRMs, analytics dashboards, template marketplaces, scheduling tools. agents just do it better. lots of incumbent saas that are generic and not reinventing themselves right now will struggle/reprice. 7. "human made" is becoming the new luxury. porsche already ran a 100% human made ad campaign. no AI is going to be a premium label like organic is for food. there's a real business in that certification. 8. IRL is having a renaissance. when everything is AI generated, being in a room with other humans becomes scarce. karaoke bars, escape rooms, live music, co-working. the experience economy is accelerating. 9. founder market fit is dead. founder agent fit is what matters now. can you direct a fleet of agents like a film director? that's the new unfair advantage. 10. ghost team org charts are coming. two real people, twelve agents with names, faces, personalities. your about page is going to look the same 11. 1000 true fans is now 100. agents cut your costs so much that 100 customers at $500/mo is a real solo business. micro monopolies across multiple niches. this is the playbook. 12. context window poisoning is the new phishing. cybersecurity hasn't caught up. agents have access to your files, email, bank accounts. bad things are going to happen. it's also a massive startup opportunity. 13. the window is open for maybe 12-24 months. then the moats get built like data, brand, trust, network 14. build cost is basically zero. audiences are underpriced. niches are wide open. idk about you but i'm not sleeping much so much opportunity this is the most asymmetric time to be building a startup. full episode on The Startup Ideas Podcast (SIP) 🧃 to get your creative juices flowing (latest episode get it where you listen/watch pods) no advertisers, just pure ideas to help you im rooting for you don't just bookmark share with a friend watch

OpenAI just admitted Anthropic is KILLING their business. Their own applications chief told employees it was a "code red." Said Anthropic was a "wake-up call." Then admitted OpenAI had been "spreading efforts across too many apps" and it was "slowing them down." This is an internal confession. Here's why Anthropic is eating up OpenAI: 12 months ago, OpenAI owned 50% of all enterprise AI spending. Today it's just 27%. Anthropic went from nearly ZERO to winning 70% of every first-time enterprise AI deal. Seven out of ten companies buying AI tools for the first time are choosing Claude over ChatGPT. A year ago, one in 25 businesses on Ramp paid for Anthropic. Today it's one in four. OpenAI just had its biggest single-month adoption decline ever recorded. And Anthropic literally charges MORE than OpenAI for roughly the same performance. And businesses are STILL choosing them. In enterprise software, that never happens. The cheaper product usually wins. But Claude became something OpenAI never figured out how to be: Cool. Celebrities publicly switched to Claude. Senators are tweeting about using it. Engineers are shipping entire products with Claude Code in hours that used to take weeks. It started to became an identity signal. Like blue bubble vs green bubble in iMessage. Choosing Claude says something about you now. Meanwhile OpenAI went the opposite direction: They took the Pentagon contract that Anthropic refused. Greg Brockman donated $25 million to fund wars. ChatGPT uninstalls jumped 295% in a single day. Reddit posts saying "Cancel and Delete ChatGPT" got 30,000 upvotes. Anthropic said no to mass surveillance and autonomous weapons. Got blacklisted by the Pentagon. Trump called them a "Radical Left AI company." And their downloads went to #1 on the App Store the next day. Turns out refusing to build weapons is good marketing. But the real damage isn't consumer downloads. It's the MONEY. Claude Code hit $2.5 billion in annual revenue in six months. OpenAI's competing product Codex just barely crossed $1 billion. And Anthropic literally cannot meet demand. They're turning away paying customers because they don't have enough compute to serve them. A company REJECTING revenue because it's growing too fast. While OpenAI scrambles to consolidate. Last week OpenAI announced they're merging ChatGPT, Codex, and their browser into one "superapp." But what this really means: "We launched too many products, none of them worked well enough alone, so now we're cramming everything together and hoping it sticks." And remember their video tool Sora? Launched standalone. Hit #1 on the App Store. Usage flatlined within weeks. Now they're forced to shut it down. Their browser Atlas? Still hasn't launched publicly. Their IPO? Polymarket odds dropped from 55% to 35%. OpenAI has 900 million users. Anthropic has maybe 10 million daily actives. But here's the thing... OpenAI won the consumer war. ChatGPT is where your mom asks about recipes and your cousin makes memes. Anthropic won the war that actually MATTERS. The developers. The engineers. The enterprises writing 7 figure checks. OpenAI built the biggest chatbot on Earth. Anthropic built the tool that companies can't stop paying for. This is Yahoo vs Google all over again. Yahoo had the users. Google had the product. And we all know how that ended. OpenAI has 12 months to prove the superapp works, land the IPO, and stop the enterprise bleeding. If they can't, the most valuable startup in history becomes the most cautionary tale in tech. 900 million users don't mean anything if the people who actually pay are walking out the door. What do you think?
