Something really sketchy happening with MTL officials. CFL needs to launch an investigation. This is potentially the worst call in the history of football. MTL is a great team. I love their offense. They don’t need help from homer refs.

@CFL I was saying the same thing watching and very confused. Looked like Dinwiddie also said WTF to the refs.... Been saying it for a while, the CFL reffing is very very bad and seems to be getting worse. No homer conspiracy, just bad.

Oh Luke. I can’t wait for you to go off on some video replays this year!! Two examples: Riders at Ottawa. They were pulling guys outta showers damn near after calling a RTP on a player who was blocked illegally into the QB Montreal at Riders last year. Montreal QB stepped outta bounds on a TD.

I had to put this all in one video to make it even clearer — The NBA has an OKC Thunder problem. The fans know it, broadcasters know it. THEY know they’re favored. When EVERYONE complains about ONE team, it’s serious. It’s not just SGA, he’s just the head of the snake. I’m not a “blame the refs” type, never have been. I actually hate when players focus too much on that. But this just makes for an unbearable product. The Thunder are EXTREMELY good. They don’t need extra help. They don’t need to be rewarded for their antics. A lot of it is an affront to the game. The physicality they play with needs to be allowed both ways or not at all. This is all from one game, but it’s every night against them. It looks and feels blatant. This isn’t basketball. The NBA needs to fix this.

By eating contact and providing short support, MTL was able to beat F1 pressure and then trap the next two forecheckers in the process In both clips, MTL47 works back on a retrieval against an aggressive F1, knowing his limited time and space won't allow for clean possession play. He wins the line to the puck, absorbs contact, and keeps the puck available for 2nd quick support from MTL48 The next play is made to the wall, followed by a short bump to dot-line support.
