The fact that this Admin is so deeply out of touch with the American people has never been more clear. Instead of addressing the needs of working people—housing, healthcare, food—Trump is plunging us into another war in the Middle East. If families can’t afford to pay their mortgage and rent, if people can’t afford to get a higher education, if seniors can’t afford groceries—there is something seriously wrong in this country. Congress must reconvene immediately to vote on our war powers resolution—now!

HOLY SH*T! California Department of Transportation officer openly admitted that they don’t require truck drivers to be proficient in English. Even more concerning, if a driver doesn’t understand the language, they skip Level 1 inspections — the most thorough kind, where inspectors go under the vehicle to check for mechanical issues — because it’s considered unsafe for the officers when the driver can’t follow basic directions. So it’s unsafe for the inspectors, yet somehow it’s considered safe to let a driver who can’t even read road signs operate a massive truck on public roads.

I’m just trying to understand something… Chris Blake Griffith has accused Stefon Diggs of some very serious things. Things that allegedly took place prior to any dealings with Cardi B. Cardi B has taken to social media to defend Stefon alleging that Chris’s story has changed and claims he’s provided no evidence. She’s also repeating Stefon’s claims that Chris stole from him. In many cases, one or two students must do all the work for the entire group or risk receiving a fail result. The universities’ addiction to revenue from foreign students is putting the education of Australians at risk, and Labor has a plan to make it worse. It should be a simple requirement - if you arrive here to study, you must have a fluent level of English.
