Something special happened yesterday (vulnerable post) 🥹 My podcast, ‘The Imagination’, got recognized and awarded within a business leadership group I’ve belonged to for 5 years called the #AreteSyndicate where I’ve had the opportunity to mentor under Andy Frisella and Ed Mylett. At our 5-year anniversary event last night,... there were 6 total awards handed out to some amazing business professionals and entrepreneurs. After the first 5 awards had been given, I was totally caught off guard as my name was called for the 6th and final award - the ‘Be Humble’ award - where I was publicly acknowledged in front of a group of about 100 business professionals and entrepreneurs (NOT conspiracy theorists) for creating a platform (‘The Imagination’) where survivors and whistleblowers can share their testinonies in a safe space that ‘gives a voice to the voiceless’ 😭 This wasn’t a win for me - this was a win for our community. To be recognized for this ‘unconventional’ podcast within a community outside of our survivor community is a huge win for us all 🏆 This is validation. THANK YOU ALL - this wouldn’t have been possible without every guest brave enough to bare their soul and every single one of you who cares to listen and learn! I’m beyond honored and, yes - extremely ‘humbled’ 🥹😭🫶🏼 This was a moment/night I will never forget and it was complete validation that the voiceless are finally being heard 🤍 I love you all! 🥹🥹🥹show more

This game being special because it was the first place I took a snap as a linebacker in 2020 (yes, I’ve only been playing this position for a legit 4 years ). Anyways, it was this man that told me at one of my lowest points I would get drafted and play in this league. And all he asked for was a signed jersey. All-way love, coach. This was outside a Washington DC restaurant this evening where a Catholic dinner event was being held (I was one of a number attending). This group of protesters (there were four but you see three in this video) mounted a very high decibel noise and strobe and laser light assault on the restaurant, which is a family business. It went on for about two hours. The idea was to ruin the event and harm the business of the venue. It was to say the least, bizarre. Though I did have to laugh at them, madder than a box of monkeys. Felt bad for the business owners though.

I have received a couple of prestigious awards in my life, but I don’t think I’ve ever been more honored than I was to receive the ADAPT Community Partnership award on Monday night. (I don’t want them to take it away, so don’t tell them I’m actually terrible.) In all seriousness, I got to dress up and make a speech and blush, but this award really belongs to all of you for rolling up your sleeves with me to try to do a little bit of good. This afternoon, I met a group of 20 homeless young boys and a girl from the Ggaba slum. The group was led to our offices by Sister Sheila Price . It was a humbling and meaningful moment to listen to their stories, share with them, and reflect on their resilience. As we celebrate Easter, let us all be reminded of the importance of reaching out to the vulnerable in our communities and extending compassion, love, and hope to those in need. “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40 God bless us all.

TWITTER APPRECIATION POST. Flashback to 11th of January, this year (2024), after a long night of tears and uncertainty, I made a post of X (Twiter), stating the growth and strides I have achieved so far in my business, where I’d like to be this year, and how I have reached a plateau. I have just used all my entire life savings to rent a whole floor of a building in the heart of Lagos (Ago Palace Way, Okota) and do not have a penny to continue but I needed about 70Million naira atleast to set up the place. I had approached a lot of banks and individuals that I know could afford but to no avail, this, as a result led me to my last resort, “making a post on (X) twitter” on the 11th, and I’d say is my biggest breakthrough since I was born. I made the post around 7am that day, which I had composed overnight while crying heavily. The post quickly gained traction and went viral with the help of ALL OF YOU, it was as if I was dreaming! It was just like a dream, a lot of people came into my DM to ask for my account details and I was seeing cash gifts of hundreds of thousands of naira!!! As if that was not enough, someone I have been admiring and made my role model from afar reached out to me and offered me a NON-INTEREST LOAN OF MILLIONS OF NAIRA! I will keep them anonymous for now, we reached agreements that I should be paying monthly with two month moratorium and to the glory of God, I have never defaulted till this day, which I pray to never ever happen. This was yet, my biggest breakthrough since I was born, and this would not have happened without you reading this post now. It is on this note that I want to personally appreciate you sir/ma for believing in my dream. May I also use this opportunity to reassure you sir/ma that going forward, I will never let you down and I promise to always give back to the society. Thank you for 2024. Sincerely. AKEULA TRENDY

Good evening I'll never forget the honor of being given the opportunity by the leading opposition leader, BOBI WINE and other responsible staffs , to address the people of Ngora District! 🌟 It was a moment of immense pride, not just for me, but for the entire community. As I stood on that stage, I felt the weight of responsibility, knowing that I had a chance to inspire and uplift my fellow Ugandans. 1994 is out.... Actually kind of can't believe I'm writing that 😭! Four years ago when I was working on a building site, I was having panic attacks daily. I had no idea what I was doing with my life. I was absolutely miserable and everything filled me with such dread that I could sometimes barely function... Then a certain song came along and completely flipped my life on it’s head 🏴‍☠️😭 now in 2024 I have just released an album full of songs that I wrote that at the time of writing has nearly 100 million streams already. Not bad!!! I literally could not have done this without 𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐇𝐍𝐗 for a start, these boys have been absolutely incredible, an inspiration to me and an absolute fountain of experience. Thank you to my managers for sticking with me, helping me every step of the way, seeing the vision and trusting the process. Thank you to everyone at the label for giving me the platform and also trusting me and the process of this album. And last but not least, thank you to my beautiful wife for putting up with me and this wild ride that I’ve dragged us on called life. Thank you for raising our incredible little boy while I’m away working all over the world and thank you for being there every step of the way, I Couldn’t have done it without you. And lastly - thanks to YOU guys. The people who have bought the album, streamed the songs, come to the shows or just generally been on this mental ride with me. In March of 2024, the evening before I shared a testimony with the House Judiciary Committee in the “Voice for the Voiceless” hearing, our team received a voice memo from one of our incredible survivors who experienced this evil. My team got me the memo so that I could hear her voice, and hear the words to be reminded who I was representing. She shared with us, “thank you for speaking for us.” But, you see, it wasn't just her that sent messages. We had so many survivors that reached out and said, “Thank you for speaking up for us. Thank you for fighting for us.” Some even shared that they never felt like anybody had ever spoke up for them before.
