Last yr when I called insurance commission office about insurance industry settlement terms for withheld life insurance policies, it was like talking to a brick wall.They didn’t know much about previous admins years of hard work. (I had a policy denied payment for over 3O years).

The approach that the insurance companies are the bad guy & it's all their fault is too simplistic & unconstructive, since some major insurers have exited or reduced exposure in California. Going with that narrative just shows a lack of credibility w/regard to problem solving. They aren't simply money trees people can shake for payouts -- that money has to come from somewhere, and the premiums that everyone has to pay, are also part of the equation. There are many factors in CA, aside from just "capitalist greed" 🙄, that increase costs. You aren't stupid; so you know that.
