@obsdmd Which settings did you use to get the vault name ("Garden") and the settings icon in the lower left corner? (I'm starting from the config)

@obsdmd @andy_matuschak I also love using the @andy_matuschak style tabs for exploring my existing notes, so I quickly put together a client for browsing wikipedia in a similar way:

@obsdmd @andy_matuschak Random Q - what is the difference between using Obsidian sync and iCloud sync? any specific draw backs to using iCloud sync?

@obsdmd @andy_matuschak Obsidian Sync is end-to-end encrypted, fast, more customizable, works on every OS, and helps support development iCloud is none of those, but it is "free"

web views work just like any other Obsidian tab, meaning you can split vertically, split horizontally, stack tabs, pop out new windows, etc this opens up new workflows for web research, or editing websites generated from your .md files

I can't go back to the regular YouTube UI after this 😅 Obsidian Reader now makes the transcript interactive so you can scrub, highlight, auto-scroll. It feels so nice.

I have been working on Obsidian Reader for a over a year. I didn't want to share it until I felt it was good enough. It's finally there. Consistent formatting for any article. Outline, syntax highlighting, nice footnotes, adjustable typography. Runs locally. Just rules, no AI.

It's actually a very common occurrence for me, where a section doesn't fit either tonally or structurally, so I just move it to the end of the file in case I ever want to use it somewhere else, but usually I forget they exist. Here's two such riffs from ORDER's project file.
