Sometimes we cannot fathom how Modi ji is subtely uniting Bharat and Hindus. Because most of his good deeds go unhighlighted and stay obscured. 115 municipal councillors from KERALA, along with the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, visited Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib to pay their respects, two days back. During his historic visit to New Zealand, PM Sh Narendra Modi Ji, while addressing the Indian community in Auckland, paid heartfelt tribute to the timeless teachings of our Sikh Guru Sahibs and the rich traditions of our faith like Langar Seva performed by Gurdwara Sahibs and Sikhs all over the world. PM Modi Ji’s deep respect and affection for the Sikh community are reflected in several visionary initiatives undertaken during his leadership. From strengthening Sikh heritage sites, opening of the Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor in 2019, befitting celebration of 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, 350th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, 400th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, removal of GST from Langar Seva & FCRA approval for donations and providing better connectivity to holy sites of Sikhism, to declaring December 26 as Veer Baal Diwas, among several other initiatives. Modi Ji also personally ensured the safe passage of the sacred Swaroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and the accompanying Sikh delegation from Kabul to Delhi in 2021 when I was immensely blessed to perform seva of the holy Swaroops upon their arrival in Delhi. In his address today, Modi Ji fondly recalled his visit to Takht Sri Harmandir Ji, Patna Sahib, where he paid obeisance to the holy Jore Sahib “Charan Suhava” of Dasam Pita Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj and Khalsa Mata Sahib Kaur Ji. My family was immensely blessed to perform the seva of the holy Jore Sahib ever since Guru Sahib and Mata Ji themselves bestowed these sacred relics upon our ancestors over 300 years ago. They had remained in our family’s care ever since. When my family resolved to place these sacred relics in a permanent home where the Sikh Sangat and devotees of all faiths could pay their obeisance to the holy Charan Suhava, we were guided by the vision of PM Shri Modi Ji, who took a deep personal interest in ensuring a befitting arrangement. A committee of eminent members of the Sikh Sangat had the privilege of meeting the Hon’ble PM to present its recommendations for the safekeeping and display of the holy Jore Sahib at the divine birthplace of Dasam Pita Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. Punjabi singer Bir Singh apologized for the mistake that happened recently in Srinagar, where he sang Punjabi songs during a program commemorating the 350th Martyrdom Centenary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji. Bir Singh said that throughout his singing career, he has always sung clean and respectful songs. He also mentioned that he had come directly from Australia to Srinagar, and upon reaching there, his phone network and other services stopped working. The biggest mistake, he admitted, was on the part of his management team, who did not provide him with the correct details about this program. Earlier, they had done some commercial programs with the Punjabi Sahit Academy, and based on the same format of those programs, they started this one as well. “I went straight to the stage, and since my entire attention was on the audience, I did not notice the banner displayed at the back of the stage. This was my mistake, and I should have gathered complete details about what the program was about before performing,” he said. When they realized they were making a very big mistake that this program was actually dedicated to the Martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib they immediately acknowledged their fault, apologized to the sangat, removed their shoes, and recited Salok Mahalla 9. Bir Singh further said, “I accept this mistake of mine. I have dismissed that management team and will never work with them again in the future. Moreover, for any future programs dedicated to Guru Sahib’s history, we will ensure proper decorum is maintained.” He humbly requested the Akal Takht Sahib, Jathedar Sahib, and the entire Sikh community to forgive him for this mistake. “Whatever service you consider appropriate, I am ready to accept,” he added. “I am a humble Sikh, and I believe the Guru Sahib and the Sikh sangat are forgiving. Such mistakes will never happen again in the future,” he concluded.

Sikhs of whole country rejects reprehensible statement made by Chief Minister of Sikkim regarding issue of Gurdwara Sri Guru Dongmar Sahib Chandigarh: Addressing the press today at Chandigarh, the General Secretary of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) Bhai Gurcharan Singh Grewal and secretary of Shiromani Akali Dal Gurjeet Singh Talwandi condemned the statement made by the Chief Minister of Sikkim regarding Gurdwara Sri Guru Dongmar Sahib and said that this place is associated with the visit of Sri Guru Nanak Dev, the first Sikh Guru. The case of this Gurdwara Sahib is sub-judice at the High Court of Sikkim and the decision has been reserved by the honorable court. In violation of the honorable court, the Chief Minister of Sikkim said that under no circumstances will Gurdwara Sahib be allowed to be built, which is highly reprehensible and illogical. The SGPC is committed to maintaining this Gurdwara Sahib as per the Sikh Rehat Maryada (Code of Conduct) as it has an association of the visit of Sri Guru Nanak Dev. While the sentiments of the entire Sikh world have been hurt by the statement given by the Chief Minister of Sikkim, there is also a huge resentment in the community. It was also said by Bhai Grewal and Talwandi that no one will be allowed to commit arbitrary action under any circumstances. The Sikh community can even risk their lives for the maintenance and service of their historical shrines. A 750 page document presented in the court as a reference and evidence in this case, recording the history of the third Sumer Udasi by Sri Guru Nanak Dev was also placed before the press, which has the clear mention of Gurdwara Sri Guru Dongmar Sahib in Sikkim. When Modi Ji said “Shabash Bandi”… here is #MyModiStory During my tenure as BJP Telangana State President, we held a massive public meeting at Parade Ground with Modi Ji as the Chief Guest. Looking at the crowd and the energy, Modi ji said to me: “Shabash Bandi.” His smile that day is something I even cherish to this day. Later, when we secured victories in GHMC elections, Dubbaka, and Huzurabad by-elections, he kept applauding our achievements saying: “Shabash Bandi.” It takes a big heart to laud our small achievements and encourage karyakartas like me. People often talk about Hindi imposition. But during the BJP National Executive meeting, when Modi Ji asked me to speak about my Praja Sangrama Yatra, I began in Hindi. He immediately said: “Speak in Telugu.” In front of the top leaders of BJP, I spoke proudly in my mother tongue. When everyone applauded, Modi Ji encouraged others to undertake their own Praja Sangrama Yatra. There may be many Prime Ministers in India, but Modi Ji is unique. He notices every karyakarta, asks about their well-being, and makes them feel seen. That is his true strength. On this day, I offer not just wishes but heartfelt gratitude. For people like me, Modi Ji is more than a leader - he is an inspiration that gives us courage to dream and strength to fight for our people. Happy Birthday, Modi Ji. May Maa Bharati keep you strong, healthy, and victorious always. #HappyBdayPMModi
