Bruh I felt so embarrassed when the guy told the other guy to not come in front of the camera. I specifically kept the camera in a corner so that no one could see it and get awkward. You could see the embarrassment on my face, although it was in a light mood as those guys keep pulling each other's legs at the Gym all the time. But I still made it clear so no one else feels that way because he was so damn loud with “oye camera hai”. You don't own the gym, it's a public gym, so chill.

Shelter security tootage from kennel 7, captured at 3:47 AM. His name is Teddy. He's 8 weeks old. He was found in a cardboard box on the side of the highway with his siblings - he was the only one who survived. When he arrived at the shelter, he wouldn't stop crying for his mother. A volunteer gave him an old donated teddy bear. He hasn't let go of it since. Every night, the camera catches him doing the same thing - checking she's still there, nuzzling into her chest, licking her face. He thinks the bear is his mother. Nobody has the heart to tell him otherwise. If Teddy moved you, please share him. Somewhere out there is the family he's bern waiting for…

This is my little Cousin who as you can see is overjoyed to be back at her home in Omdurman after being displaced in Eastern Sudan for close to two years. So many external narratives have been superimposed on those in Sudan; at the end of the day it’s mainly just people fighting in whatever way they can to be safe in their own homes. Something that most of us around the world are able to take for granted.
