I lost $100.000 to people like that. I was very inexperienced with crypto and never even heard of scams like that. Hopefully the police can trace it....

Scambaiting is such a great internet tradition. One time I had a coinbase scammer asking for a seed phrase & I kept him going for a few hours. I sent him a video of John Cena’s entrance theme as my “screen recording” & then Rick Rolled him at the end using lyrics for the 24 words
