We should never have let him go, he should've been given the contract he wanted last year and got to stay on till he retired. Such an incredible player/person and even if he was on a "decline" you take his usual 18 to 20 G/A out of Spurs & look where we are.

He and Kane and by far their best ever PL players. Bale had a couple of seasons of top play. Klinsmann was only there for a season. Sheringham wasn't prolific. Keane was good but not prolific.
