Sonic Youth Bull in the Heather Letterman (1994)

Bull in the Heather (a racehorse) was the longshot winner of the 1993 Florida Derby. The song isnt about the horse. The band simply thought it was a cool name.

Letterman always had the best musical acts. I really do miss it.

There is nobody cooler than Kim Gordon

One of the best fucking tunes 🖤⚡️

Trash 🗑️ here. Steve’s drum set is like a kick, snare, and maraca? Cool to see this live on Letterman!

Kim with the John Starks jersey is legendary!

Wishing Kathleen was on with them. 😍

I've seen thousands of bands, many thousands. When people ask me for my list of greatest shows ever, I often say this is in the top three: Sonic Youth at the old 930 Club in 1986.

Kim's latest album is really good.

I still wear blue converse one star’s because I saw them in this video for this song 32 years ago

They were just so fucking good.

This is a classic and its there best one ever

Lady bass players owned the 90s.

One of their top sonicscapes ever produced.

Brilliant song by a brilliant band

Love this. A go to on sonic youth days

Epic 🔥🔥🔥🔥👊

This performance is so sick ✨

The album cover is a choose your own deal, I love that

Love them ❤️

@alfrediniesta

I’m chuckling to myself about the other guys in Paul’s orchestra rolling their eyes.

yessssssss lady!

本当の幸せを知ってて二人は笑うんだ

Never get it, never minded for them. Teen Age Riot is a pretty good song though.

aah another band with 'zero cultural footprint' i guess

Thanks for the title SM.

ウォーロックベースでやってもらいたい

Where was that girl who bounces around

Their best song

Teague Time!

I remember a group of us getting together to watch this, had already stopped watching Letterman regularly because the show wasn't as good after moving over to CBS.
