Had several OU peeps infer that I was dropping OU for Ark. No way! I’m Sooner born/bred, OU grad, will someday be Sooner Dead. I’m just saying I loved the passion of the Ark fans - I have another team to root for now. Met so many great people there last night!

What are you talking about? They were in the game for 4 quarters. Tennessee game measured the loudest the game day crew had seen in 3 years and that includes Death Valley.

I been to several Arkansas games when I lived in Miami. I have a friend who went to Arkansas her brothers and I went to games when she was there back in the McFadden, Jones, and Ryan Mallet (rip) played at Arkansas.

I know the ESPN crew said we reached 117 - I was there that night & many OU home games over past 40+ years. I’m just saying last night at UA was LOUDER in my opinion… they willed their team to a win

yep, been saying it. the uni & teams understood going into the SEC but always knew the fans had no clue about the SEC or their fanbases passion and craziness. ou fans have got a lot of work to do. see how ou fans reacted to TN coming to norman, they couldn’t believe it.

I’ve spent a lot of time recently in Northern Ireland, and the patriotism here is something else. Watching the bands today of the apprentice boys in Ballymoney was incredibly moving, every beat of the drum carried pride, passion, and a deep sense of loyalty. Loyalty to their culture, their heritage, their history, and to this great land. You can feel it in the atmosphere, in the people, in the way they stand and represent who they are. It makes you think… England could learn a lot from the men and women of Ulster.
