When we unveiled Replit Agent in beta last year, we showed how to build a landmark explorer so you can see interesting things around you. It was slow, buggy, not pretty, and expensive. Now with Replit Design I can make it styled exactly to my taste fast and cheap—on my phone!

Ok, my mind is blown with Replit Agents. I started using it because I was bored on a train ride a couple of days ago. So today I tried to build a Trello clone and build a fully functional app in like 45 mins. I showed it to a few people in the office and the guy is like "I should quit my job." He built a stock tracking app in 2 mins and added a few features he wanted. I can't imagine the world being the same in 10 years if software writing could be supercharged like this. Replit has really hit it out of the park. I don't need ChatGPT now. I'll just build apps in Replit. I'm a fan and a convert.

so I started with FreeCAD, since i am a linux guy, haven't touched windows since the past 8 years. Also I did this online course from Uni of California Irvine on "building your hardware for your embedded and IoT projects" which had FreeCAD as the main CAD software. FreeCAD was free, and fun, yeah a bit buggy sometimes but gets the job done, since initially all the CAD work i had was just builidng cases, or mounts, or some light hobby stuff. So FreeCAD did just fine. Then I joined a company as a product engineer where I worked with LiFePo4 home energy storage battery packs and was responsible for all the modules of the pack (Cells, BMS, MCUs, Touch Display ) mainly the embedded system. Since I was the product engineer, I'd have back and forth convos with the CAD designers off the battery pack box/casing. I didn't really do any CAD work on that project, tho it seemed really interesting to me. They used Solidworks, and I installed windows for it(swallowing that was difficult); to do Solidworks in my free time which I hardly got. I tried Solidworks and I kinda liked it. But then I quit the job and started working on my SAAS products. A few months into it, it's not fun anymore, slowly getting started with CAD and eventually to electronics to hardware products. Now, I want to go about CAD. I'll be doing a 30 days CAD challenge increasing in complexity and will be sharing daily progress here! It was day 2; I designer a bolt and a nut. I'm going with Fusion 360 for now, coz i like the UI/UX and the hobbyist version is free. So yeah. This is so much fun, i completely lost track of time while doing it. Gemini on the side is alot helpful.

𝙷𝙰𝙿𝙿𝚈 𝙽𝙴𝚆 𝚈𝙴𝙰𝚁!!! 𐔌՞ ܸ.ˬ.ܸ՞𐦯 thank you for all the crazy amounts of support in the last year. I officially started streaming as Sym in feb 2025, but those who don't know, I used to be another streamer known as shiohh. And although I left on a good note with shio, I had been struggling a LOT behind the scenes with my mental health for a long time. Sym was my escape from reality by allowing myself to freely express how I was actually feeling at the time. Sad, lonely, out of touch, distant from the world etc. And although on shio, I looked like I was having a good time, I felt out of touch with myself and community. You may go and look up my previous self and think I had a lot of followers, however I struggled to make a connection with them, and it was obvious in my actual viewership. But with Sym, I feel a deep sense of connection and community, I feel seen, I feel heard, and I feel like MYSELF! 2025 was a year of self discovery, and you all really helped me with this, without you, there would be no me. the REAL me. So thank you so much for allowing me to be my true authentic self, and for enjoying who I really am. I love you all for sticking with me, and liking me Happy New Year I hope 2026 brings us so much luck, happiness and joy in the backrooms (..◜ᴗ◝..)♡♡♡

kimi: i think today it's one of those days where you have to be happy with P5. and the pace was not really strong, on the medium. i was getting there towards the end, but, then on the soft had a big damage on the floor. it was a very was not an easy race at all. but overall, was one of those weekend where I was always a step behind. especially after missing FP1, FP2, alphabet P2. so not easy out there, but, all in all, i’m happy with P5. and, just make sure that, next weekend I'll be back at my level.

Q: You've won with three different teams, but still I can say because I'm older than you, you're much older now. Is this like being reborn? "Yes, for sure. That's what I said to the guys, I said, not bad for a 41-year-old, eh?" 😭 "No. I've trained very, very, very, very hard this year. I mean last year was just, it was difficult from the beginning because I got injured here actually. Big crash that I had here last year and I was carrying that injury through the whole year which was really, really difficult. And then just, God, just the whole year, I just never want to think about it. But I never gave up, refocused, recentred, had a great winter, came back in pushing with these guys and rejigged my team." "Wow. This has come sooner than I had expected, but yeah, I take it. I'm so, so happy and so happy for the team as well." F1 2026 || Barcelona

just dropped my first video in a 5 part series where we build a full travel planner app on Replit and i am so excited 🌍✈️ as a software engineer, design has always felt a little out of reach for me. like i had all these ideas in my head but turning them into something that actually looks good was a whole other skill set. but the Replit Canvas genuinely changed that for me. my favourite way to use the Canvas is to bring in reference images and websites to help me to create designs! in this first video we jump into the Canvas, explore design directions for our travel app, and apply a final look to a real working app. it is so fun i promise. go watch it and let me know what you think 🎨👇

Most AI slop consumer apps will be DEAD in 5 years. I think this is where the market is headed I was bored today so I texted Rork to make me a Snake game. 2 minutes later I'm playing snake on my phone. I also did this yesterday with a to-do list app. In a way Rork is like a super app That can make apps on your phone. And it's not hard for consumers To utilize, This game took 1 prompt. most simple apps that can be one shotted with 1 prompt are most likely done for once this hits the consumer market. Eventually all the slop apps will be filtered out. And the apps that will survive are the ones that have community, gamification and identity that can't be replicated So Start building Genuine banger apps.

.President Donald J. Trump: “I never get a fair break from the Fake News, because last time I was having a lot of fun ... and I’m talking about the fact that I will never make it to Heaven. I was being funny. You can’t be sarcastic with them ... I really think I probably should make it. I mean, I’m not a perfect candidate, but I did a hell of a lot of good for perfect people.” 🤣

🗣️ Martin Odegaard on last season’s injuries and how he feels now: “Yeah, for sure, it was massive for me. Last year was really a big struggle with a lot of difficult moments. I think that’s the worst thing for a footballer, to not be able to be on the pitch. “I had quite a lot of weird injuries and bad luck. So it was good for me to end the way I did, first of all with the title here, then a good World Cup and then a break. “Now I feel good and I’m ready to go again.”

🧸: today I went to do something that was really fun. Also, today I got to play with a hamster. Honestly though, a fun fact: my first pet was a hamster. I’ve had so many pets. Starting from fish, hamster, porcupine/hedgehog, Japanese turtle the little one, chinchilla, and then Padi and Tobi (her dogs) – these are all my pets. But I had a hamster that I really loved, and I named it ‘Crazy’, confusing, right? But they died. I’m not sure what happened because I was still young. But I did care for them really well. I’m not sure what happened they just suddenly went still/stiff. I was shocked and was really traumatised. Also, my chinchilla, I named it ‘Khai dun’ (steamed egg custard), and I named the second one ‘Khai dun the 2nd’. Confused why I named them this, right? I’m not sure. I was used to it already (the name). The first ‘Khai dun’ made me really sad and missed them so much, so I named the second chinchilla the same name. #MiuNatsha #หมิวณัชชา #ลีน่าหมิว #LenaMiu

Kevin Kiarie: I took myself to Singapore last year. I asked for help, and it was very sad to hear some people say that I did not seek help. There was an event I was offered full sponsorship to China, and I needed to pay for the ticket. I tried to find the visa, but I did not have a fat account, so I was not cleared. I went to the ministry, too much back and forth, the dates arrived, I was not set, and that is how I missed. From there, I made a commitment not to rely on someone. For Egypt, I kept on seeking help, writing letters, you miss a lot on training and preparations #CitizenSundayLive

#SpanishGP 🇪🇸 | Lewis Hamilton on what has changed in his life from last year to this year: “A lot has changed. Last year was not a good year at all in so many ways… But, [there’s] more harmony within the team. I think I'm fitter, I'm healthier, I'm in a better place personally, I've arrived with a much better attitude, I'd say even a better attitude than I started last year. No injuries like I started last year.” “I’m driving a car that I’ve helped develop as opposed to last year [where] I inherited a car that I had nothing to do with. It’s a new era that I also prefer. So, a combination of things and I'm just happier in my life as well.”

Governor DeSantis says he was BORED his first year at Harvard Law School! “So I get there and I'm there like a week or two and I never had so much time on my hands in my life. So I'm just going to class a couple times a day. That's it? I'm not playing sports. I'm not working anymore. And so then after the first semester I went out and I got a job teaching the LSAT and did other things just because I was so wired to always have things on my plate and having to juggle all that.”
